If LEO is a user here they can simply post a link to another site (one that is monitored by LEO). Then anyone clicking the link will be re-diverted to the site and their IP address will be available.

So, RIU didnt necessarily have to give up any information. In addition, it has been explained to you that there are multiple ways to get every post you have made here.

Ernst there is a such thing as sharing too much info...espcially if you trying to do something in secret..I know you want to get everyone on the " legalize it tour" , but right now I'm trying to make sure others don't have to spend a year in jail because of sharing too much info..I suggest you read his shroom journal first to understand what I'm saying...

It seems impossible for local police to bust people here as long as you're not revealing what city you're in. The only way they could obtain information is through extensive data mining. That would be inadmissible in court. The only way would be for the DEA to data mine the whole website and then pass along the information to local police. That might be legal. But as far as I'm aware that hasn't happened anywhere.

ok, i don't mean to go on and on here, but i'm confused. i totally understand the wife's PO being able to come for any reason any time and getting caught red handed, but i don't understand what the posts had to do with their case if they caught you red handed. "we came, we saw, we arrested" why even bring up the posts? what did they have to do with your court case if no warrent was needed in the first place? what were they trying to justify?

It was just what they what they had to make them use the po to come search. It was not used in court against me per say but they had to give it to me as part of the discovery. This fuck boy cop really thought he was working a big case and that was what he had to work with.

Doesn't make sense that they didn't seize his computer though. Most likely he inadvertently admitted it was his account when talking to the police. They could have pulled up a completely harmless post he made and then said "well explain what you mean in this post here" and then by explaining it, he had admitted it was his account tying him to ever post he ever made. Cops are tricky like that. That's why you never speak to them without a lawyer.

Actually when the po went to my closet and found the 2 tubs of shrooms pinning just like in the pics it was a done deal. How hard is this to understand people? The police saw the pics but could not get a warrant based on pics so went to my wifes po so she could find them and they could arrest us.
