^^^^ You talk in circles.

The US did not have this war brought to its shores and if the US doesn't wake up the war will be brought to our shores again?!?!?!?!?

That doesn't make any sense. Really. It doesn't. Not at all.

Neither do you, i don't get what you're saying?

The american people which were fucking stupid enough to vote for bush chose the fight. the war didn't come to your shores

The war on terror would have never happened if bush stayed out of the middle east.

you are just asking to be butt slammed again, just like 9/11.
Let me explain what you said again. "The war didn't come to our shores" your words. You are claiming there was no terror attack on our shores.

Then you state, "The war on terror would have never happened if bush stayed out of the middle east." where you claim that we wouldn't have been attacked in 2001 had Bush not sent troops into the ME AFTER said attack occurred. Somehow his actions after the attack would have prevented the attack that had already happened.

Then you claim, " you are just asking to be butt slammed again, just like 9/11" suggesting that if we don't wake up and understand that we were never attacked on our shores we are going to be attacked again on our shores.

Which is it?

"I'd like to assure the world that I did NOT plan the recent attacks" -Osama Bin laden
http://archives.cnn.com/2001/US/09/16/inv.binladen.denial/

O But How easily so many forget In even the own words of the White House(forget the FBI and the other sources for a minute) - Osama Bin laden was not responsible for 9/11:

And furthermore when asked under pressure top officials also deny that Al Qaeda was even responsible....so who was it?

FBI Says he didn't do it uh.....

So there we have it folks - Murdered in the middle of the night and dumped at sea - Osama did not have a gun yet we kill him right away, instead of having a trial, instead of answering more questions we get more coverups and "This Generations Pearl Harbor" alleged perpetrators story stays forever in the shadows.

You can sit back and take the mainstream medias word for it like you always do or you can actually examine history and examine the evidence fairly, you can pursue each side to this story, when you do this you WILL smell the rotten eggs, oh how rotten they smell, at this point you could come into denial but stand strong and stay objective, study and research this and your common sense will tell you in the end we aren't being told the entire truth about this or anything for that matter, its child's play really.

These types of events started near the beginning of documented history and have repeated themselves over and over - 64 AD - Romes emperor Nero Burns Rome and blames the young christians, later he builds his new palace in the rubble which he had planned before the fires.

"Kill MILLIONS of innocent men, women and children"

I guess you could believe that if you watch MSNBC, but nowhere near that many innocents have died, and most of them that have, were not killed because of us, most of them were killed by the very terrorists that say they are protecting them.

"Destroy 2 countries"

Every once in a while, you have to let your dog off the leash to remind the neighborhood who's in charge. I think it was a fine example of retaliation...blow up a couple of our buildings, we topple a few governments and kill a shitload of your countrymen/religious fanatics.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was told to have been killed multiple times ( on different dates ) in the past by media and govt. ops. They lie and constantly change their story but yet the sheeple just lap it up. Osama was dead years ago.

There are concerns that we shot an unarmed prisoner. When we shot Osama.

we will not release pictures where Osama's head is blown open.

The Question is should we have shot Osama or should we have had a trial?

Oh it's not me.. It's the state of the news.

America is not the only country nation this effects. I am listening to NPR and the BBC news and many do not believe OBL is dead.

Just updating us so we don't grow ignorant.
Osama is immortal and like Hitler's body Osama's was disposed of.

Wow they just announced my name on my local NPR and all I did was donate online.. :)

I do like Science Friday

watching fox news, god they're working hard to give credit to bush for obama killing bin laden... they have this guy on oreilly right now... he keeps saying how all the information we have is from 2002.

more than one source has already established that waterboarding leads the victim to lie just to stop the torture. yet fox news is throwing all of its ammo for waterboarding and torture.... we didn't get any really useful information with waterboarding. all the information we got that was useful was gotten in interrogation sessions that didn't involve any sort of 'enhanced interrogation'.

conservatives don't seem to understand that....

in my mind the political ammo they're using backfires, you know, the whole "we found this out with bush's techniques".... a guy actually said we discovered most of the information in 2002. if that's the case, then the automatic question that comes up is: why didn't the bush intelligence, military-police state machine follow the leads and find bin laden and take him out??

o reilly didn't ask that question, obviously... the thought never even crossed his mind........ classic...

damn ernst, how else did you suppose they flew so far into pakistan without getting shot down???

it wasn't silent, what they do is put extra rotors on top so the sound isn't as distinctive helicopter sound... it sounds more like a plane....

LOL!!! Fox news is doing it?

They put people on the air and interview them.

Your opinion on waterboarding is far from the majority.

And, is it your opinion that the waterboarding in 2002 led the victim to lie about the information that allowed us to get Bin Laden? Cause that doesnt make sense.

Now, since it is a good thing I understand why you dont want to give Bush any credit. But unless you can show how Obama personally contributed to the information obtained in 2002 you are going to have to acknowledge that Bush should get some credit for the whole mission.

Furthermore, unless you can show how any changes in military procedures since Obama came into office you have to give Bush alot of the credit.

GITMO, Rendition, Military Tribunals... FFS, everything that Obama campaigned against is still in effect from the Bush administration... But hey, lets not give any credit where most of it is due.

funny how i rarely see krugman on fox news (not without being shouted down at least).

do you suppose they vet the whackjobs they give public air time to beforehand?

what a novel fucking concept!

...the information obtained in 2002...
what information would that be?

you are going to have to acknowledge that Bush should get some credit for the whole mission.
done and done.

in fact, if it weren't for bush ignoring memos such as "bin laden determined to strike within US' during the summer of 2001, bin laden never wuld have been viewed as such a villain. a villain, but likely not the most wanted villain in the world.

"OK, you've covered your ass now". that was bush's reply to an intelligence official who flew down to his ranch in texas to warn him about the aforementioned memo. he went back to his vacation and neglected to act on the intelligence.

i'll give credit to bush on that one.

Your opinion on waterboarding is far from the majority.
KSM was waterboarded 183 times and never gave us the courier. in fact, he tried to lead us AWAY FROM the courier.

183 times!

if you listen to the folks who are most effective at interrogation, it is not a matter of torture.

it is a matter of gaining trust. it is a matter of flipping them.

of, for fuck sake, just fucking read the highlights of this interview with matthew alexander, the guy who obtained the intelligence leading to the capture of zarquawi, i listened to 2+ months ago.

http://www.npr.org/2011/02/14/133497869/one-man-says-no-to-harsh-interrogation-techniques

torture does not work. intelligent interrogation tactics do.

deal with it.

what i'm saying is that more often than not 'enhanced interrogation' led to unreliable information. that is a fact.

another fact is that ONE person gave 'good' information 4-5 times, after being waterboarded almost like 100 or more times.... the method is unreliable and doesn't make sense.

and another thing, bin laden was in pakistan in a pretty crappy hiding spot for a whole bush term. obama found him quick, that information was available since 2002???????????????? it makes sense that the CIA briefed bush on this, and the whole we've been close a few times (which i've heard swirled around the news) is a lie....

credit where it's due. bush may have known about bin laden's whereabouts and didn't do a damn thing.

obama ordered the most elite soldiers in our arsenal to put a bullet in his head.
