thanks bill, i just don't have the free time that i used to. trying to hustle up work and tending to the girls has consumed me. finally at a point where i can start my perpetual now. all three sections of my box are filled and ready to produce.Bro your grow is awesome, I cannot believe the nugs you are pulling with your CFL's. To be honest your thread should be a HOW TO on growing with CFl's, If only you updated more

thanks bonzi, waiting to see how your scrog turns out! thinking of running a scrog next if my perpetual doesn't fall into line.

thanks dude, 5k bulbs are only good for vegging your plants. 5k will work to flower but with very very limited and sad results. 2300-2700k for flowering and 5000-6500k for vegging. ask and I and everyone else on here will help you to the best of our knowledge.

me just tootin my own horn.... I AM good at growing with cfl's and my nug turns out fucking great!!! Super Silver Haze has turned out to be amazing for back pain and very very heavy head high that keeps you up and alert, it's great for that before work rip. 5 Hour Energy ain't got shit on my Super Silver Haze! Jack is still curing and starting to smell super spicy! few more days and she'll be smokeable. Sweet Island Skunk.... that's all I can say. Can't wait till it's finished!!

looks good dude. you want a ratio of 2:1 with your bulbs during each stage. for flower you want 2 2700k for every 1 5000k. for veg you want 2 5000k for every 1 2700k. for cloneing you want just a couple 5000k bulbs. i see nuggets in there!!

yeah. yeah you do. lol. I see you use beastie bloomz. I use fox farm nutes and I just got my load of additives in the mail the other day beastie B, cha ching, gravity, and candy bud for next grow. I wish i had all that good stuff once my girls started flowering for max performance. So i started with my adds mid bloom. Hopefully they still turn out really good. was hoping to get some buds like yours. Next time I'm not gunna FIM but maybe just top once or maybe twice and do a nice 2 cola.
3 plants. The one in the back turned out 1 cola and i had to bend that sucker over. and the other 2 have 3-5 colas. The plant in front isnt very "fruitfull" like the rest. Dunno why maybe just a runt.

dude if you read the back of beasties, it will tell you to start using during the mid-end of flower cycle. so get to using the beasties, follow the directions. when you are feeding you should feed, then water 2-3 times then feed again. looks good.
oh yea, stop cuttin the tips of your leaves off, if your plant is always green because you cut of the yellow, you'll never know if you growing in the right conditions. plants are supposed to be green until the chlorophyll has photosynthesized out then the leaves will turn yellow. premature yellowing is a sign of a problem. just cutting it off will not solve your problem. do your research and find out what exactly is causing the problem.

no problem with my girls. if you look in my journal you will see i did that a while back, was just trimming to reduce the amount of shade the plants were putting off. Since my box is so small my plants are kinda squished together and the canopy completely blocks the lower branches of the plant. I didn't cut them off because of yellowing in the leaves

So a few days ago I went to lowes and got a couple pieces of plexiglass ( 30x 36 ), a couple of 2x2's and 2 pieces of 1/2" thick 2'x4' insulating foam for about $45. Lined the top of the flower area and veg area with the foam. Then mounted plexiglass just low enough to keep my exhaust fan above the plexiglass using the 2x2's. Then with the left over foam I cut a piece to fill the front between the plexiglass and roof of each section. I now have a .2 degree heat difference between my grow areas and my house temp. The exhaust fans run through my grow box and vent directly into the wall space. I have a total of 15 23w bulbs for flowering, 12 23w bulbs for vegging and 2 23w bulbs for clones.
In the pics you can see that the box is divided into 5 areas. Top left is my veg area, bottom left is the flower area, top right is the clone area, middle right is my electrical area and bottom right is storage for now, but will eventually be my drying area.
veg area is 39"W x 36"T x 22"D ( 18 hrs on 6 hrs off) 1 96cfm exhaust fan
flower area is 39"W x 48"T x 22"D ( 12 hrs on 12 hrs off ) 1 96cfm exhaust fan
clone area is 12"W x 36"T x 22"D ( 24 hrs on )
electrical area is 12"W x 12"T x 22"D
drying area is 12"W x 36"T x 22"D
cost me about $40-50 a month to run fully operational.
so the uploader isnt working for me. gonna try and post pics again after reboot.

ok so i tried again and nothing.... i can't upload pics, maybe because i have too many already uploaded? i have no idea, the pics are all within upload size but it doesnt work. been having problems with it for a few months now.... if it doesn't work later or tomorrow then i guess im done here...
