Hey, man. My plants are looking way better after going with your recommendations. How much of bloom, mag pro, and pro tekt should I go with during flowering? When do you think I should flood, and how often during flowering?

where is the door located?? if its on one of the 7'8" walls you should be good as you will have a good 3'8" walkway to work and what not. also are you planning on running a single 1000w or something like that?? if it where me i would go with 2 600's one over each pair on other side of the room for a little better coverage IMO.
I want to do two 600's but it might not be affordable as of now.

Al B. Fuct uses one 1000w per 2 tables and he has 16 plants in each one, which is 32 plants SOG-style per light.

Also, the doors are taken off in the pic, and the doors are on the two smaller walls.

My only problem might be securing a light mover on the shanty ceilings.

al does run 1 per 2 trays but utilizes the 2 lights as is what im recommending you do as well. i think the room is just to long for a single bulb you plants will be out of reach of the intense spots the bulb runs more efficient at. a thousand watt and light mover could be prices compared to 2 600watt kits i could get two from my hydro shop for around 600$ which would prably be about the same as a 1000watt kit with a light mover, unless you have a light kit already.

I go with equal amounts of Protekt and Bloom. 7.5ml of each and 3ml of Magpro. Should come out to about 1300ppm. I flood right after the lights come on and a couple hours before they turn off. I used to flood three times a day, but I've found it isn't necessary, unless you don't have good roots yet and they start flopping when you first put them under the big light.

A couple thoughts about light movers: I haven't used 'em but I've heard they are electricity hogs and can be noisy. Another consideration, if you have limited headroom is the rail itself takes several inches away from what you have to work with. Sometimes that can make all the difference.

Thanks man. I couldn't be happier with the limited results I've achieved thus far. I set the ph, and it basically hasn't changed in 4 days. It went up maybe .3 or something like that. I really appreciate the help.

Well, since the shanty opens from both sides, I guess I could also just push the trays together to make the area 4x4.

Wouldn't one 1000w cover 20+ plants SOG-style sufficiently?

9 days and no roots. Wish I knew what I was doing wrong. Nothing different than I have in the past.

I just threw some more plants into flower. I'll take cuttings from them in a week or two and see if I have better luck rooting those.

Do you usually take cuttings from flowering plants?

no, never. I've seen quite a few posts about it however, and that cuttings from flowering plants are exceptionally vigorous. I have no idea whether that's true.

I peeked inside of a couple of my rockwool cuttings and they are rooting, just slowly. I have used a botanicare aero cloner for a couple years and have burned out the pump once and replaced it and replaced the neoprene disks a couple of times, and sterilized the whole rig many times, but it seems like my time to roots gets longer and longer, and my success percentage has dropped from 100% to near zero. I'm going to get a new set of disks and try another run with the machine, but I need more clones more reliably than the 25 site box has been giving me. I will probably get another 25 site unit and refurbish the one I have and start rocking 50 cuttings at a time.

It's always something!

I'm not using the aero right now; I need a new pump for it. I placed my cuttings in rockwool plugs. I was bitching too soon anyway. About 2/3 of them have roots now and they are all looking like they'll go.

Sailing the seas of cheese

I have 3 turbogardens going now; I just put 7 cheese plants into flower:

They all look like this one; I topped them 3 weeks ago and cloned the tops.

The advanced class is Chronic and White Russian at 7 1/2 weeks.

Chronic:

White Russian:

Veg side: killed some old mothers, I still have a Chronic mom, a WR mom and a Northern Skunk mom, a bunch more cheese to flower as soon as I get room in a couple more weeks (they'll be vegging longer than I'd like but I'll build a clone army in the meantime.

And I have 4 Dogs. One's a mutant but the other three look like this :

I need to clone them a little further before they go into flower, they are a little shy to show roots for me. The mutant failed to clone at all.
