yes i feel safe....first i would notice the program that was installed to do the spy thing..no matter how stealthy they think it was...and would notice the cam light...but if you rent a PC from Aarons you have already failed...seeing that i was in management for that industry for 10 years...i know they have no techs and buy shit refurbished computers. so i have no problem posting pics here...seeing that someone spying on you via cam isnt going to get you busted...what will the guys do...call the cops and report your grow and say they know your growing because their illegal spy cam told them so?

if i grew, there would be no way in hell i would post pics, it was a 'hidden' program inside their computer. just because the computer isn't in your grow room doesn't mean you are safe posting pics. they can now listen , thru your cell phone, to any conversation that you have, even when you shut it off. time to wake up folks, your rights are being violated and noone seems to care.
they can drive by and scan your cell phone, know where you've been and who your contacts are.

and if you're /really/ paranoid about them getting your pics through your computer you should install linux. there are no known ways you can backdoor a linux computer without the root password (if there are, the feds aren't using them to bust pot heads that's for sure....)
go look up ubuntu if you're interested in that.
I post my pics but not a whole lot anymore and I post them on a site that i can take them down after so long (though that doesn't stop people from copying them while they're up..)
regardless, I go by the bigger fish to fry mentality. there's far too many of us now for them to bust us all... only the few in illegal states or the few that are stupid enough to post pics of /large/ operations.

yeah you notice how you have to type in your root password before you can make any major changes to your computer?
that is the root of linux's security. a virus can't track your keystrokes or download your files without knowing your individualized root password, the more secure you are with this pass (as in its complicated and you only use /this/ pass as your root password and nothing else (no other internet accounts, etc.)
so yeah I'd say using ubuntu you're very safe as far as someone hacking up your computer, but it doesn't make you any safer if you're already posting your pics online and some government guy downloads it and finds the location within such pics.

i have posted over a 1k pics here...i personally know a few people on this site that hvae posted double and triple that. have not heard of a single person being taken down over posting pics...first they cant be 100% sure its even your pics...so they cant bring up charges just for pics...now i wouldnt take a pic of me while standing in from of my grow room/tent/closet whatever it might be then post it here. but thats just common sense...and this applies to all you "legal" growers too...no one is really legal according to the feds...so your crutch only holds you up for local cops. but as long as you dont post pics of yourself,your house, and some giant commercial grow your fine...it would take them years to scour all the threads on all the forums and start going through pics...they dont have the time or funding to do that...unless of course they are involved in the war on drugs, but they still have bigger fish to fry.the DEA does not care about people 4 plant cfl grows,they want the cartels...but locals cops care...any bust to them is a positive, if for nothing else the fines and money they get from selling your shit after they take it.

if you are reffering to me, all i can say is good luck. did you know google tracks your movements on the internet? check it out, it's true. and maybe for 'now', they have bigger fish to fry but i am saying just be carefull that's all. i called in a brush fire to 911 about 2.5 yrs ago, they said 'we are on our way' without asking where it's at. i was over 5 miles from home so they couldn't have gone by billing. sure enough they showed up. just saying, esp if you grow outside, don't take your cell w/you.

I really don't think we're /ever/ going to see a time where the government goes on RIU to raid growers of 12 plants or less.... they want people who are going big; they simply don't have the /time/ to try to take on all the legit medical growers in california, colorado, oregon, etc...
