to make that trip as safe as possible, it would have been a better idea to kick everyone off EXCEPT those two muslims. they were checked more times than anyone else on that plane. theres a much higher chance of one of the other passengers having slipped a knife on the plane than those two, as they only went through security once. to say it was a safety thing that he kicked them off for is WRONG. in his eyes, it was because of safety. but his eyes were blinded by the emotion of fear in his brain

I agree with you that there should not be racist pilots flying only who they want to. However, we have virtually no background on the pilot, nor his reasons for refusing to carry the passengers. In addition, they were not prevented from flying, they simply had to catch a later flight.

first of all what ifs play on the fear of something bad happening, in this case it didn't. what if the plane would've crashed because of a mechanical failure?? oh wait, it didn't... what ifs are a method of argument used by people without cojones... they were allowed to catch a later flight because the airline knew there was absolutely no reason to not let them.

muslims are definitely included in safety procedures. the problem is that people have preconceived notions that all muslims are out to get americans. its simply not true. in fact, its only an extremely tiny fraction of them. but somehow you feel that it is okay to pick them out of a group and check them more than others because they are muslim. we should be checking everyone 100%, not just them.

like another person mentioned earlier, why isnt the pilot confident in the security system enough to let them on? why doesnt he go to his boss and ask for better security, because he doesnt feel safe? if every single person going through that security check isnt being checked correctly, ANYONE could have a weapon, not just the muslims.
