I've learned from browsing through RIU that you have to know what you did to your plants and keep that as your baseline to anything anyone says.
I recently posted a deficiency thread and no offense to the helpers, but some were trying to convince me it was a cal mag def and needed immediate treatments with salt, but from the information they provided I determined it was a boron deficiency. I knew what I had done to my plants, and having them react in anyway shows you that it was mistreated, but if they are in soil that had nutrients you can just water and watch it grow, kinda like a chia pet.
The debate raged on with people telling me to treat it with epsom salts, "it won't hurt either way". Either way, it didn't "need" it, so I didn't do it.
The only thing that ended it was me posting that the plant had outgrown its symptoms.
I appreciate all the help, and would not have found my answer without their assistance.
