lmao... nope, just a bad joke.

I actually thought about what I could make a cool pipe out of throughout my day... couldn't think of anything though...

There's this guy on here, 420God, who has a homemade vape, that might be something to check to maybe get some ideas on how to make one if that's one of your ideas.. he had a good way of figuring out how to heat it properly I can't remember exactly, maybe I'll look around for the thread and post it up......

Nice work. I think you should thread the pieces together with a metal connector in the middle to finish it up. Maybe a plumbing piece hand polished or off the shelf pipe part from the smoke shop.

I haven't made a pipe from it yet but rock is fun to work with and not nearly as difficult as you may think. After seeing this thread I've been looking at an extra 1x1 tile of black galaxy granite I have here, and thinking about layering it up into one hell of a nice large pipe. So far I've done countertops and custom cut and polished around the sink and that wasn't that hard, got it to come out perfect and all it took was a cheapo circular saw like tile cutter from home depot, a grinding wheel on a hand grinder for round or odd cuts, then a little patience with the same hand grinder and dry sanding disks of progressivly finer grit to polish. These tiles are under $10 and when you glue layers and polish you can't even see the seams unless you leave gaps or you could just get thicker scrap from solid coutertop cut offs. The pictures don't do it justice, it's really incredible looking stuff in person.

Dang, a pipe out of stone. That would be sweet....

I wonder if there's a type of mud you could mold into a pipe, that would be fire resistant... maybe like the same material they use to make clay homes?

The cons are the stuff shines like glass if polished, so any screw ups you make any unevenness would have to be polished out smoothly or you'd always see it, and you couldn't make a really thin end like those finished pipe pictures , or it would be too easy to break. Probably have to use a seperate mouthpiece if you want a thin neck, but I was going to just make it thick and heavy enough to be solid. You can buy these neck parts in plastic and metal, you can buy any pipe parts online.

These are cool:

This is different:

Or if you just made it thick and one piece in the shape of a typical glass pipe then no problem, you woudn't need to worry about it:

Yes I'm in Oregon mr420man. I grew outdoors once and then never again. It's ok I guess if you don't have a better option but we don't get enough sun to get much of a good yield and the fat nugs, and the rains come on quick and heavy and gave them mold or fungus and they never recovered even after moving them inside. If you do it that's fine, but I would go with autflower maybe that you preveg indoors so they're sure to finish in time before rainy season outdoors.

I really did not like outdoor growing will never bother again. Maybe eastern oregon would be different but I'm near portland, way too much rain and clouds and streetlights and my back porch light and my neighbors back porch light all these interfere.

Indoors I learned to yield record breaking amounts with vertical open bulb stack using 2kw surrouded by 5-6 plants in a cylinder shaped scrog. Vegged to 5' before flower and scrogged to where they can be moved it's not hard to break 1lb per plant, I broke 2lb per plant but that was with critical mass, which I didn't really like much anyway.

I got a dui a while back though so I gave it all away and have had to be clean and sober for months with many more months of pee testing to go... I can't even have smoke AROUND otherwise I'd smoke it and fail my test. I don't have much willpower every day for months on end because the smell kills me and taunts me and begs me to hit it. :)

Even out on the town if I smell it or see people smoking, I have to walk away until they're done so I don't just salivate. :(

I wouldn't reccomend a move here right now though, there are almost no jobs here, not real jobs anyway just temp and burger flipping or the worst places. Growing isn't an option as a job here either, you can't sell to clubs or anything legally like you can in cali, and the law will really screw you on that. I gave my shit away free, donated to a medical club i used to be part of. Hopefully one day that favor will be returned when I'm legal again, but you never know..

Thank you oregon, my family owns a carpet business and work here in florida is crazy slow. Worst its been in 10 years and our income use to be like 10000 a month in oregon fro
1989-1997 and then work got horrible so we moved to sunny florida in 2001 and things picked back up to about 10000 and now its more like 1500 a month. So we are contemplating moving there at end of this year but i guess people arent dirtying their carpets. Do me a favor go break in to a couple dozen houses in oregon and tell me how their carpets look. I think that should answer it
