I'd advise using a spoon to some degree, I wouldn't encourage people to ever pull a healthy plant out of dirtTake your pot and fill it with water as to make the soil muddy. Now let the water slowly drain onto the soil and one at a time gently start tugging plants away from the soil.
Or you could partially scoop them out and hopefully avoid completely ripping them from all their roots...shrgar, just do as suggested, if a couple of small roots break is not such a big deal, just be carefull and they'll be fine.
easy man! I'm not suggesting to pull them out, I said to do as suggested, as you and the previous post were suggesting. Just wanted to point out that when you separate them you won't kill them if couple of roots brake!Or you could partially scoop them out and hopefully avoid completely ripping them from all their roots...
Yeah just do as suggested, its not like my idea is safer...
the best way is to cup your hand around the pot leavins the stocks between your fingers turn it upside down and tap the bottom the hols thing will come out. do this when the dirt is pretty well all the way dry. then just lie the plants down and shake off the dirt it should all come on tangeled without breaking any rootshow big is the pot? my neighbor was able to grow three plants in a five gallon pot. id recommend separating then tho
