I have had pretty good results with one and a half gallon containers as well as one gallon. Personally I have never used anything above two gallons and have usually had much better yields than the strains advertised average. Here are a couple of pics of my current batch of Blue Himalayan Diesels. The oldest one labeled BHD1 in the pic is about 47 days old. The one labeled BHD is bigger at around 35 days old. I am pretty sure that it will yield better than 2 ounces. I have them in trashcans that are about a gallon and a half. I am using a hempy/DWC hybrid setup. Basically It is a hempy bucket with a deeper water table and a four inch airstone in the bottom. I was getting about the same results in soil before I got overrun with pests.

Thanks for the info. size is really no concern at this point fro my new grow with the Snowryder's, only using a 4' 6 bulb T-5 for light source, with a floor space of 4' x 22".

These are my 3 (Bonzai 8 1/2" tall) White Sharks that I just put into 3 -gallon pots from 1/2 gallon bags about 10 days ago, that were in 12oz. party cups for 3 weeks previous to the bags. They are day 44 and 45 in pictures.

These will be crossed with a male Snowryder if I get one.

Also are pics of 4 Snowryder's 26 hrs. after innoculation and germination, just before being placed into the 1 gallon pots.

One of the Snowryder's has broken ground and has popped up in less than 24 hrs. This will be respectfully labeled Snowryder #1. This seed had the longest growth from it before planting in soil.

4 Snowryders Broke soil 100% germination

Here is my update for the day.

All 4 Snowryders have pushed through the soil.
icon_lol.gif
1 within 24 hours, the others maybe 40 hours. They were given a light water around the edge of the pot to keep moist.

The White Sharks were fed water today pH'ed with 100% pineapple juice. It took about 12ml to a gallon to bring to 6.6 from about 8.0.

White Shark labeled #3 turned out to be a male so it is the one that was cut.

i grow right now deimos. i dont know nothing about this plant i am in day 28. yesterday was showed their sex. you can show in my grow journal. some advices?

Thanks KuLong. I have stumbled upon your grow before it was one that inspired me. Just re-read it again great job.

I also got good info. off of your seaweed link. that I have read in the past, I live by the ocean and use as much natural resources as possible, crab/ oystershells, seaweed, and I will be getting fish waste from the salmon fishermen by the cleaning station all to add to compost that I will start to make.

Once again thanks for the comment and for the inspiration to go with this strain.

I hope you follow along my little grow. I also have some Auto Assassin and Russian Rocket Fuel on standby. All are regular seeds and I will be producing my own seeds for the future, and also do breeding experiments along the way.

I will post pics. later of day 2 of the Snowryders. Which is today.

Looking good PakaloloHui.

If you want to see a finished SnowRyder journal, check out my link. ;)

Pandora update for you guys and ladies who have been following. Day 84 today.... No end in sight.... Just kidding, lol! I'm guessing maybe another 3+ weeks.... This is where she really bulks up though. I've had her under 12/12 the last 4 weeks and she has come along nicely. She has been gobbling up 1700ppm+ nutes, Big Bud/Sensi Bloom A/B, etc with no sign of burn. Pandora is looking to be some fire for sure though. Auto of no auto this bitch is bad ass! Let me know what you think bongsmilie

ok I know this is a question that has been asked before but I am just starting to put my Russian Rocket Fuel outside. I need to know how long it takes for a seed to fully mature on the bud. I am planting 11 Reg RRF plants and I am leaving the males up with the females so I can have a really nice seed harvest. I am not worried about yeild with these autos because I have about 35 reg plants that I am putting out. I just really want a nice seed harvest. When should I chop down my males.. I was going to chop them down about 2 weeks after the females started flowering. is this a good plan or should I just leave them up till I harvest?

The females should be pollenated at least 4 weeks before harvest. Seeds normally take about 4 weeks to mature, and the females should be pollenated between weeks 2-4 of flower, in the case of the RRF Auto around week 4 from seed. Some seeds can take upto 6 weeks to become viable. As far as chopping down the males, I would chop down around week 4, this way your RRF should be around week 2 of flower with plenty of pistil development to be pollenated, and you should have 4 -6 weeks until harvest, depending on ripeness.

is there any type of autoflowering jack herer? i know this is doubtful but thought id ask, oh and i harvested a tasty smoke from my ladies.....happy days

Damn dude I'd be thrilled if mine look half as good as yours. Mine are about 5 weeks from seed and have been flowering for about 2 weeks now. The branching was excellent like yours, but have stretched quite a bit since moving them outside. I'll post some pics in a week or two when things start getting more interesting. :)

You're right, I have a feeling they are both going to be beasts. Definitely much larger than my previous auto experiences.

Sweet - Black Jack Automatic
Autoflowering new version of our Black Jack. Result of crossing our S.A.D. Auto Auto with our Jack Herer. Automatic superior quality, dense buds and copious resin production, intense aroma and sweet incense, flowering quick, strong and great hybrid vigor effect.

Technical data:
100% autoflowering
THC: 19% CBD: 1.1% CBN: 0.3%
Indoor Yield: 400-550g/m2
Outdoor Yield: 40-250g/planta
Indoor Blooming: 6 weeks
Indoor/Outdoor Harvest : 9 weeks from germination
Height: 40-110 cm

------------------------------------------

Female - Automatic Jack
After stabilising Jack Herer strains in the 1990's Female Seeds came with a pure female Jack Herer in 2002 (Cinnamon).

Now we are offering a version of this sativa in autoflowering seeds. The advantages are: quicker maturity; they start flowering at around 4 weeks of age instead of 6 weeks and have a shorter flowering period of around 7 weeks indoors. For optimum results we do advise 12/12 during flowering period, as 18/6 lighting period will cause fluffy/leafy bud. Height will be around 60cm - 80cm indoors. Harvest is 10 - 11 weeks after sowing. Bud smell is sweet-peppery/cinnamon and the high is exceptional.

She is an all-round performer indoors and outdoors in temperate climates and even starts flowering mid july in cold climates and finishes end September in cold climates. Great for outdoors as she produces more flowers than leaves outdoors.

These seeds have the beautiful tiger pattern, the Jack Herer is well known for.
