anyone check out these LEDs.. http://www.advancedledlights.com/pr...r-LED-%2d-3w-USA-LEDs-%2d-11-Wavelengths.html
brilliant plant bro interested to hear what the dry weight was could you give a little more information on what light you exactly used for that plant , nutrients, and about how far you had it hanging from the top of the plant?
If it's me you are replying to ... thanks, she was a nice plant.
Well she was four plants (clones) growing in the one large hempy pot.
The screen is about 2 foot diameter and is attached to the pot.
I use 3 parts perlite and 1 part vermiculite.
Nutes
the cheapest, crappiest, supermarket quality general purpose fertilizer sold for Mr & Mrs Suburbia to feed their house plants ... and a similar quality "Bloom Booster".
My 2 boxes of "nutes" cost about $12.00 in total and will grow maybe 50 of those grows.
My vegging/cloning/grafting area uses Kessil H150 Purple lights and I flower using the Kessil H150 Magenta lights (one light per 2 foot dia screen)
Lights are hung 40cm above the canopy for both vegging and flowering.
When dried to 65% humidity the manicured buds weighed 40.5g which is 1.125g/watt as the light only draws 36 watts.
40g is not a lot of weight but the quality is excellent and is more than I need, and I get a similar amount of a different strain each 5 weeks (based on 10 week flowering strains).

Hehe, if you can afford ~$1500 for 350W from the SG302, you may consider jumping on the Blackstar band wagon and getting 6 of them shipped for that price, which would give you ~720W of LED. Your 600W HPS uses close to 700 /w ballast. 5 Blackstar would be right at 600W, though. You won't look back though, from the heat to power savings, life is better with LED. I'm still using both though, until I can replace the 600So tempted to say fuck it and grab a SG 602 for my first grow vs a 600w hps...lol
My more realistic plan is to grow with hps for at least a year or so before experimenting with LED's but the decreased fire hazard, heat signature, and energy consumption sure is attractive..

I'd be hesitant on Blackstar as I've seen mixed reviews on them. I would think just dropping in a bunch of them would be easy enough, but fewer (more quality) units would probably be better, no? The price at $250 or so is nice though haha. The 357's are appealing since Irish Guy was able to coax about a lb from two of them I believe. But then I'm back to $1500, which isn't going to sink me financially but it would put a lot of pressure on me to have a successful grow right off of the bat. I know he did well with the GLH line but their site is all janky (right now anyway) so I'm hesitant to go that route.Or you could go with a proven panel company like GLH or Magnum/ISIS. More expensive than Blackstar but cheaper than that SG

Still a noob with the LED research (and in general) but they certainly have some great things going for them. I'd like to drop an SG 602, 2 357's and some GLH's all in a 4x4 or so and see what happens.
Also, what kind of exhaust fans are you running with LED's? I'll have around a 4x4 tent. I'm sure you need less than with an HID, just enough to pull through the C filter and circulate the air every 5 mins or so.
They look fine under the 240 blackstar, it's a decent light for the money.
I like to think its the best LED for less than $300 (some can get it as low as $250), and also the only unit for less than $2 per watt that works good (the best cost just under $3 per watt)
