First Medical Grow! 8 Plants Your Thoughts?

Hey guys first post, first thread, first grow!

Details-

8 plants:

1-jack the ripper

1- pandora's box

1- champagne

1- william's wonder

1- dairy queen

1- trainwreck

2- sweet tooth

About a week left to veg under 600W MH bulb, then will be switched to 600W HPS bulb.

Soil-
Manna Mix-coco based soil

Nutes-
BioGrow(veg) BioBloom(flower)

All except the sweet tooth are in white 5 gallon buckets. The sweet tooth are in black 3 gallon i believe.

All have been super cropped, some have been topped (pictures at some point?) Average height is about 18 inches. The light is about 22 inches above them.

Temperature Ranges from 77-79
Humidity ranges from 34-40

Oscillating fan is blowing on all of them, and there is a 6 inch, 170 CFM fan next to the light.

The buckets are in a 2x3 structure surrounded by mylar.

Anyways i just want your opinion/thoughts on this. if you've grown some of the strains above maybe give me some specific advice on them :?: any and all input is appreciated on this first time grow!

I think the tomato cages are a good idea, I've wanted to use them myself, but can't because I use flouros for veg, and have to run my lights really close. By the time they're ready for HPS, they're way too bushy to be able to place a cage over them, or else I would. They'd come in handy, for tying up branches and such, once the buds start packing on weight and falling over, a constant problem. Probably come in handy for controlling the heigth of the tallest shoots, tying them down, keeping the canopy more even,(a semi-SCROG type of scenario) allowing you to run your lights closer, which'll let the lower branches fill out better. I do something very similiar, except I use bamboo rods to do the same thing. Works very well.

pictures! ok the ones with the least amount of growth and look all spindly and sickly are (unfortunately) trainwreck and dairy queen =[
jack the ripper is REALLY bushing out...it's easily wider than it is tall.
Champagne and william's wonder are both bushing out very nicely, both were super cropped heavily
the two sweet tooth's are smaller than the others, but were just super cropped a few days ago and are starting to bush out more.
on the champagne stalk there's a mini thing that looks like the beginning of a flower, but i can't really tell

some of the leaves are curling together, like when you fold a piece of paper in half hot-dog style. what does this mean?
hopefully these pictures help! P1010052.jpgP1010048.jpgP1010047.jpgP1010055.jpgP1010057.jpgP1010053.jpgP1010056.jpgP1010045.jpgP1010050.jpgP1010059.jpgP1010046.jpgP1010051.jpgP1010058.jpgP1010054.jpgP1010049.jpg

Light should be 12" above the plants since you are using a 600 watt light and you should have fresh air coming into your grow area. Curling leaves usually means heat issue

ya those tips curling up are signs that the plant is trying to transpire heat....kinda like how we sweat.

how important is fresh air? the air in my grow room is constantly being moved around, but i'm not exactly sure how much of new air is coming in
