I Have My 2 Plants In 5" Pots For Flowering Would I Need Bigger Pots ??????mad Help

my flowering is taking for ever is this because the roots need a bigger space to grow faster and better plus i cut alot of the big leafs off the plant to expose the tips more would that cause slow growth of the flowering cause i havent seen signs of sex on my plant in 2 weeks of flowering NEED ALL THE HELP I CAN GET

learn from your mistakes, dont cut off fan leafs next time. also, what are you waiting for to transplant into something bigger?

no im saying if i put the plant into a bigger pot will teh plant grow alot faster and flower quicker

and i guess the fan leafs help the plant flower alot faster eh

ya,most def put them in bigger pots. its recommended that you have a gal/month. so if you only want the plant around for a month your good with a gal container, if you want to keep your plant for four months you might want to put it in a four gallon container..... ya, if they are in small containers they tend to grow tall and skinny(or from my experiences anyways). good luck:blsmoke:

I came across the same problem just a few days ago. I'm essentially in the 3rd week of veg and I was wondering why my plant wouldnt grow any more in the ~5 in. pot I had it in. Took the plant and soil out of the pot and found out it was COMPLETELY root-bound. Transplanted my baby into a 5 gal pot and shes finally growing again!

BTW - the Fan leaves are the sugar manufacturing machine for your plant.

Thats what gives you the THC !!!


(Dont worry though, I did the same thing my first grow)
