Help Me

I have been a smoker for years, & am trying to get in on the growing game. For the past several weeks I have planted seeds into soil & they only get to be about 8 inches in height, then they die. I have one plant currently going & TONS of seeds left. I water everyday & have a "Grow Light" which is a 4ft flourescent tube. I know it is not high pressure sodium. Can someone help me? Do I need More light? What could the possible problems be. I want to be smoking my own herb ASAP.

Maybe the watering EVERY DAY is the problem,plants are not like people being that they do not require water every day,they only need watering once the soil is dry,then they need water sparingly.

Read the grow faq before you plant any more seeds,you might want to take notes as to some of the gear you'll need,growing is not that hard but you will neeed atleast a very basic understanding of what plants need,you'll also need proper grow gear.

Every answer you need to get started is cointained in the grow faq on this site.

That was a mistake. I actually do not water everyday. So that is not the problem.

I need to increase my light, and air flow & more properly maintain the temperature. I read & saw something about a fish tank air regulator any thoughts?

you may need to do all of the above, not enough light and airflow will not kill your plant at 8" tall, temperature and overwatering will, your call? VV

agreed this is true for virtually any flowering plant

Your watering to much of a new plant...even every other day is often to much...wait till the top of the soil gets really crusty and dry then water.
Also a 4 foot flourescent tube will be suffecient for one plant...but you need proper circulation and ventilation...
dont water so much and get a fan....grow on bro...
