I am starting 3 auto strains, Williams Wonder, White Dwarf and Auto Oil, because I need something ASP.
I chose auto for speed. I can see choosing auto for convenience. You dont need a lightproof grow chamber or have to mess with a timer (although it seems many do give them a few hours dark). But apart from these reasons, why choose an autoflowering strain?
The last time I grew, perhaps 5yrs ago the few auto strains were considered junk. This time when I was shopping for auto strains one seedbank owner was quite snooty about it. Told me he didn't carry that junk and I should get 'something decent'. Ticked me off. This grow I don't have time to be a snob. I have a friend who is hurting. Anything is better than nothing right now.
Are these new autos really that good that people will choose them over regular strains even when they have time to grow a non auto crop?
Not trying to start a war here. Rating a strain as a great smoke is mostly subjective. So let's be cool. Don't like anchovies on your pizza? That's fine by me.
But I'd like to know how people think they stack up.
