Need a Good Foliar Spray

Ive heard using liquid seaweed and some other stuff as a foliar spray it will help keep spider mites and other pests off of it. anyone have a good mix for me to try out? id like to find the one with molasses in it...

It certainly isn't gonna do anything for bugs. And anything that messes with a plants stomata, can cause the plant to overheat, because it's natural heat protection, is being broken down. Every thing on the market with outlandish result descriptions is not great for your plants. That stuff does work great for shaded plants outdoors, or indoors in low wattage situations a pro grower once told me.
But for your needs, the kelp your using along with some fish emulsion, and molasses if you like is good for feeding and protecting your plants(I've never used molasses in my foliars, I don't like anything too sticky cause it gets hot here, and I don't like that, sticky stuff and heat don't get along well together usually in my experiences.You could add some micro beasties to your spray would help too.

A foliar spray which helps feed, add micro elements and keeps bugs away, I know just such a spray, lol. Never had spidermite problems until the greenhouses next door started raising veggies and using all kinds of chemicals on their plants and now my farm which was organic for 5 years has all kinds of bug problems. So this is what I've come up with that works great for me.

Making 2 liters of spray:
6 cigarettes or half of one cigar
1 head of garlic
1/3 cup olive oil
2 teaspoons of liquid soap, ivory is the best because of no additives

Strip the tobacco out of their wrappers, mince the garlic and add to 2 liters of plain water. Heat this mixture up until close to boil but do not bring to a boil. Turn off the heat add the oil and allow to cool to room temp. Add the soap and molasses 1 teaspoon (optional), put into the sprayer and lightly spray your plants, making sure that you get under all of your leaves. Hint: I find it easier to place the plants on a stool to spray which allows me to get underneath without much trouble or bending over (I'm an old man).
Allow to sit in the shade or without lights until the leaves are dry. Apply every 3 to 4 days until the problem is solved usually 2 applications is all that is needed to cure an existing problem once a week if no bugs are appearant.

How much did Dutch Master pay you for this advertisement? And prevention is the best cure for mites. Good gardening habits like not wearing clothes from the outdoors into your indoor garden. Outdoor/indoor pets kept out of garden. My indoor cat is allowed in the garden. Quarantine new clones coming into the garden ect...things like that....

I love the fact that Dutchmaster talks about a foliar spray and how awesome it is, and then tries to sell you a foliar spray. Imagine that. LOL

Thanks for the link iamgrowerman - definitely going to check out that to see what AN has to say about carbs and growing.
