this kid i went to hs with was being chased on the freeway a few years back by the popo cuz he was all cracked out, and well, i'm sure you know how that makes the paranoia run rampant in peoples.. anyhoo's, he gets out of his car, and runs across the highway, and into the woods and was then shot like 32 times or some shit cuz the cops said he had a gun, which turned out to be his crack pipe of course, no gun anywhere near him, except for the ones belonging to the scumbags who shot him 32 times mind you...
sure, you should't run from the popo, granted, but i didn't know that the penalty for doing so was being shot 32 times like a rabid dog..

i myself have had a few run ins with the popo and gotten kicked in the head after being handcuffed mind you, so yah, i'm no fan of the popo either..

I had posted on the Pima County Sheriff's facebook page in disgust on this subject... had written a really good paragraph, along with a few other people who did the same.

Next day, all the posts were gone... not surprising.

Lets not forget about that poor Native American artist (who happened to be deaf) in Seattle that was shot in the back by a cop because he was carrying a knife and a board. He was a sculptor. The incident was "investigated" and the cop was found innocent of any wrongdoing.

He approached the gentleman from behind demanding he drop the knife. Then he shot him in the back and side four times when the artist didn't respond. The knife was 3 inches long and it is legal to carry a knife 3 inches or shorter. It is common practice for NA artists to carve their art in the streets. That's how they sell their goods.

This type of confrontation, whether drug related or not, is escalating at an alarming rate and usually with tragic consequences. There is always an investigation and the cops involved are always exonerated. It's becoming an epidemic but no one is looking into it. It's not gaining national attention. Why?

Expect about 15-20 small minded folks jumping on your ass about that...

Every time I make a statement like that on this forum, the same idiotic gang show up and start talking about "fuk da poleese" and other random, idiotic things.

To which I say fuck'em... because just like you, I dearly appreciate the good men and women out there who go to work every day and put their lives at risk for people they know nothing about.

some people cant survive in the world without police....some folks can.....police just need to do their job like they were sworn in to do. that includes turning in and arresting bad cops, but they dont! instead they lie and cover up for eachy other, no respect from me till the change starts in the ranks.one bad apple is all it takes...........

Or you get accused of being a Narc or LEO. Fuck 'em. I know some damn good cops. One of them is a good friend of mine from Boy Scouts and Church plus I went to school with him. He is one of the best.

Yeah, EVERY cop in the world is just like that, GP... you're going to have bad apples in EVERY profession and that's just something you gotta deal with in this grown up world, humans will never be perfect, I am sorry to inform you of that.

But wait guys/gals.....Pima County AZ is the County where liberal Sheriff Clarence Dupnik is chief LEO. This is the same guy that said that "heated rhetoric in the country" caused AZ Congresswoman Gabby Giffords to be shot! Once again his department comes under fire for dereliction of duty.....killing a former Marine and trying to cover it up. The last time being the incessant excuses made why Gifford's shooter, Jared Loughner was able to purchase a gun after deputies were made aware on numerous occasions that Loughner made public threats against others lives! This has been news for weeks, surprised it is just making it here. Welcome to the Police State....PAPERS PLEASE!

cops r people, it is just their job; there is almost always someone else in charge pulling the strings. not only r cops people, they r people that risk their lives DAILY to keep "most" of us safe. granted innocent people r going to get hurt JUST like the cops. why be a hater? especially to people who do one of the hardest jobs that HAVE to be done for the good of all?

people r people, good or bad, cop or not, lawyer or not, politician or not, etc. etc. etc.

generalizations such as this r not only ignorant & small minded, they r simply a sad part of life & on the "bad" side. as such I didn't even bother reading ur ridiculous post...under the guise of hating cops.

It's very unfortunate that people who say things like you did can never back it up with any real statistics...

Perhaps that's because what you say isn't true... I know a lot more dirty, cheating, lying mechanics than I do police.

Posting shit like this is essential to my mental health. Reading about fucking up shitty people in uniform starts blood pulsing to some nuerons I've tried so hard to keep quiet. It really helps when someone reminds us they're humans too. It's difficult to remember.

so youre gonna compare a bad cop to a mech.?you dont like your mech...go to another one, or fix it yourself.cops kill people,arrest people, and seriously fuck up peoples lives. that is where the diff. lies. but its pretty obvious from ALL your posts where your heart is at so really your biased opinion on police and how much you need their presence in your life is no surprise. lord knows a po-po thread cant be posted without you trying to justify their murderous actions.....also,if you know so many bad mech,sounds like you may want to get a better car,lol

Throughout human civilization from the tribal setting and onward there has always been a warrior thug caste settling halfway with the people and extorting them for protection against other warrior thug classes. You can't NOT have cops. If you get rid of your cops you'll just expose yourself to getting raped by another band of thugs. No rational intelligent person is going ot deny they're thugs but they're OUR thugs. They're on our payroll and there is a certain standards and practices line that wavers back and forth between acceptable and bullshit before the people say FUCK YOU we can be OUR OWN warrior thug caste. E.g. Militia.
