put hydoton on soil - use a shop vac to rid of adults /and yellow sticky tape like that one said - a little sm-90 or dawn dish soap will help smother eggs and larva ..........they sale a couple of srays just for the fungas nate Ive always noticed when i have the fungas nate i dont have any other bugs and there not so bad if you keep there population under controll

for root aphids you need to get imid, found in bayer tree and shrub. Are you flowering? If flowering IMID is not a good choice.

I often just use a spray bottle filled with 80/20 water/liquid dish soap and spray the leaves, it does the trick

Indoor Pharm will kill fungus gnats and stop the life cycle but you need to spray the soil weekly until they are gone. The gnats lay their eggs in the soil. see pharmsolutions.com/indoorpharm

I recently got gnats as well and have been using homemade traps to control them. Do they cause any actual harm to the plant though?

I use a spray bottle with a drop or two of soap(mild shit) and shake it and spray plant well and top of soil

If they're in pots, & are whiteflies, An all natural way to get rid of them is... Add some regular sand you buy at home depot. Add 1/2-3/4 of an inch on top of the soil. When the flies come up out of the sand/soil they can't dig fast enough to penetrate the sand. after a week or so all the eggs will have hatched, the flies emerged, and they can't get back in to re-lay any more eggs. If it's whiteflies, the larvae feed on the roots. You would have to have alot of them to really do the plant any damage. Good Luck!

oh ya a tiny bit of dishsoap in water sprayed on the soil should do the trick, but dont over do it?
