Ok, fine be scared of concrete. It is easy to leave alone and never ever worry about. My floor is concrete, and I don't fret.

PVC is absolutely nasty for humans to be around. Absolutely totally nasty.
Please read a little about it:
PVC: A major environmental health disaster
PVC is the worst plastic from an environmental health perspective, posing major hazards in its manufacture, product life and disposal.

Toxic Manufacturing Byproducts:
Dioxin (the most potent carcinogen known), ethylene dichloride and vinyl chloride are unavoidably created in production of PVC and can cause severe health problems, including:

Cancer
Endocrine disruption
Endometriosis
Neurological damage
Birth defects & impaired child development
Reproductive and immune system damage

I avoid Poly Vinyl Chlorate like the plague. I used copper pipes in my house..

just think about it.. maybe you don't care if you cannot see the fumes from the PVC... I have had issues with plastics and PVC fucking things up. remember all the grow tents that were made with bad plastic? Seasoned growers lost everything they had due to nastiness in plastics. I have lost a whole huge room of hydro due to contaminated plastic in buckets.

This is just stuff to think about. ...

As always, make up your own mind.

im pretty sure studies have shown 'EVERYTHING' causes cancer now hahaha

rofl yes! The reason being? Cancer grows in a person with an acidic system <7.0 and weakened immune system. So any impurity can be proven to 'cause' cancer and omg.. age does it too. Oh noes!

I just place my 2x2 tray on top of my rubbermaid roughneck reservoir and pour my top off water into the tray so it drains into the tub. I look into the 3/4 inch drain to see where the water level is at so I dont flood the res. Works easy as pie. I will also be building a small wheeled platform to put my res and tray on top of so I can rotate the table to get to the plants in the back in my 3x3 tent and adjust as needed. I think it will work nicley.

Then wouldn't any table have to be the same distance higher so you can access it? PVC thickness takes up 1.5" more height than an infinitely thin table.
Yes, but I wasn't comparing table to table. I was comparing table VS no table at all. I didnt want the table taking too much space. but since its veg tent and the plants wont be getting too big anyway, Id rather the table be taller than shorter so that I can have as much access to my res as I need since I cant really move it around at all in the tent itself(due to space)

kind of a bad idea since the nutes in the add back will only be slightly dilluted. I dont want this addback water touching my roots before mixing in with the rest of the res
