Aluminum Foil?

I placed an order for mylar to line the inside of my starter grow box, but in the mean time would it be ok to use aluminum foil temporarily? I was going to paint the inside of the grow box white but since my seedlings are already growing I was worried about the fumes from the paint affecting the plants. Can fumes from the paint affect starters?

A space blanket (also known as a Mylar blanket, first aid blanket, emergency blanket, thermal blanket or weather blanket)

Mylar blanket, $2 at wal mart..... in the camping section (it's in a litttle packet)...... way better than tin foil, and way easier to work with...

Just put that shit flat against your walls... 1 blanket is quite large

That's the ticket!

Foil WILL burn your babies, without a doubt.

When it comes to tin foil you got to use the dull side and not the shiny coz that will burn your plants, i painted the in side of my growroom with brilliant white paint and coz i onlt had 2 propagator lights i made a reflecter out of foil and it didn't do anything to my plants, mylar is much better but if thats all you got untill you get it as long as the dull side is used it will be safe' like i said didnt do anything to mine.
