thats good always under estimate and when u go over ur happy..lol nice job boss...have 600w quatum cool tube but heat def beacomes and issue thinking bout 2 of the 500 watts for 4.5ft longx 4.5ft high by 2.5 ft wide..what do u think bout that boss...

I think for that size 1 blackstar would be enough! I just got a second blackstar 500 for my other grow for a 4x4x 6.5 grow tent. Or to deal with a better footprint 2x 240 watt blackstars would be even better for that area you described

i think your under estamating H&G. wait till u add top buster then shooting powder. your buds r going to be falling over(and thats a great thing). more than 5 zips. and the quality your going to get, out of this world.

Lol Mongo, this is OG KUSH grow too! This grow is my FIRE OG KUSH grow the Blackstar grow tent is my $100 OG Kush grow. For the $100 OG Kush I hope to get good results with 1000 watts of LED!

With my 500 watt Blackstar it raises temps by 5 degrees, with two probably 10-12 degrees, but my grow tent is bigger than yours. I think the best bet would be 2 x 240 blackstars for you

I can't see much difference in growth the last few days. I am going to be starting Shooting powder next feed, so maybe we will see massive explosion!

Now here`s some stuff that i see. Dont take this the wrong way as its just my opinion.
Your overloaded on nutes, your tips are burning and major fanleaves are unnatural dark (almost purple).
Thats why there slow imo. I would flush and leave it for a week. No nutes.

You wanna keep your nutes down a bit, you can always add but never take away. Good rule is to use half of whats recommended.
Also check your soil ph (run off). Salt will buildup in soil and can change your ph. Hope that this was usefull.

I talked to the House and Garden rep, and he told me to follow exactly the feeding schedule and I can feed full strength every feeding. The drip clean is supposed to get rid of all the salt buildup, that is used every feed. Ill double check everything again. But thanks for the advice.

Tricks, thanks for your concern, i just looked into it. I got off the phone with the House and Garden rep, and he said I am doing everything right. Feeding every feed, normal strength. I told him about the slight yellowing of some tips (minor), and he said weeks 4 and 5 feeding really pushes the plants, and I just hit my plants limit. This is fine because next feed it drops from 19ml of soil a and b down to 11.5ml, because I am introducing shooting powder next feed. He says I will have amazing explosion once I introduce this product next feed. Thanks a lot though!

Hey mongo! I was going to add 2.6 grams of shooting powder into a measured container with some water in it, wait till it stops fizzing then put in the rest of the gallon watering container. Is that right? What is your technique for that? I am doing that on Sunday for the first time

what i do, fill up watering rez, add A and B ph the water, add drip,add bud XL, then take a scoupe of water from the rez and add the shooting powder to the cup u just got a scoupe from. wait till it stops fizzing then pour that back into the rez.
