day 11! not much is new, save i threw out the littlest runt of all the flowers. i made up a new batch on ph'ed water. marijuana plants need to be within 5.9-6.5(Buds iv) so here is how i change the PH. I use all natural ingredients, because i like organic living in every aspect. I know what goes in me, i know what comes out of me.i know what is going on inside me. I fill up a gallon jug with plain ol' tap-water, pour out a glass, check the ph, add apple cider vinegar if too high or baking soda if too low. check ph once again, add ph'ed cup back to jug and shake. then feed girls with new water. 36ml at a time, then flood the tray.this way they get a direct feed and a passive feed as well. then about 45 minutes later i repeat the watering process. i split their watering schedule in half so that they get used to getting a regular shower, rather than a daily one-time downpour. 5 more days till flower. until next time,, SEACREST OUT!

three more days till i switch to harvest. these are just a few pix to make me smile.
the second and third shots are just family photos, but the first one is the runt of all the biggest and fastest growers.look at the leaf at the top of the photo #1, see the missing half of the new growth? she (or he) just came in like that. same watering schedule, same amount, no light burn, havent started nutrients yet. I have no idea what that may be.
looks like its just a genetic deformity, problem is, that there is a leaf underneath it that looks the same way. like, it may be "growing out of it" but i have no idea. im just giving it the same attention that i give to the others and not investing too much extra effort at this point. im just trying to make it to flower.

day 16. switched to flower on day 14. 9am to 9pm. seeing slight nutrient deficiencies in a few of the plants. i guess their food supply was exhausted. hafta use miracle gro nutes and that really sucks. but with not alotta cash an no hydro shops round to speak of, well... so im on 1/4 strength tomato food, as im pretty sure theyre the closest in ph. so hopefully i can swing it till i can get something proper. the girls seem to have taken a liking. 36 ml of ph water with the food added usually fills the cups up enough to have a little runoff, and i let them soak that up. takes about a clock hour for the soil of the combined cups to pull 2 ml standing water back in/. i water twice a day im still seeing fairly substantial heat issues, but none that are seriously affectiong the plants. truly, i may be overracting a bit, but i air on the side of caution, plus, fuck these local dealers, i want my own killa. our best dealer was fucking KILLED on some bitch shit, our 2nd best is MIA at the moment, and the go to guy right now cant seem to look anywhere other that my missus' bewbs... oh well, now you see why im going at the neck this time. i need a coupla ounces to get away from street shit. fuck it, pictures.

not sure if the wyno30 guy is messing with you or being serious but dont pay attention to haters if you peek at his member status he's a new comer and still learning how to roll. wayno30 i suggest if you are to venture onto someones post you ought to say constructive things or nothing at all. It is obvious the OP heart is in the right place and wants to learn to grow well as the same with the rest of us so thats what i have to say about that. anyways kidcreole. Keep up the good work plants looking pretty lovely. the only thing i could suggest (although i know you said money is an issues) is when in flowering the rule of thumb i have learned for CFl's is to double the light intensity when you make the switch from veg to flowering I.E. more light if you can man it'll help. walmart had three pack of the 2700 k 26watt 100watt ouput bulbs i used those my first grow during flowering they really helped the girls kick into action. well thats as much useful info i got for you right now hope some of it helps catch ya later.

locdawg. good lookin out man. No huge issue with money if i need to add moar lights, im just not sure what that would do to the heat issue, which i actually remidied. I just had to move the unit to a better cooled place, no big deal. only, i had to give up the ABSOLUTE darkness i had. I mean, inky-black, but HOT AS SHIT. The other space is like, twenty degrees cooler, but has two windows. theyre both covered, and the cab is light proofed, but i'll probably end up just giving the outside of the cabs another two cans of matte black rusto to be super light-leak safe. Temps are sitting comfy around 22C(73F) so, yay for that. ordered some GH nutes, full spectrum kit, so ill have everything to add some real food to their diet. but i now wanna throw more lights in there now lolz. And to the little piss-ant complaining about my shit, post your pics... go 'head, I'll wait.

day 22. Im SUPER high and i actually lost track of days. me an the missus are only one week apart in age, so about this time o' year, shit starts to blur together and THe Kid is a may baby too. May is a month to fly by for me. anywayz... heres a buncha pix to update my thread. The one im holding is the biggest that ive been talking about this whole time. Just the biggest plant i have, clearly trying to "Sativa-out" and skyrocket towards the lights. Like i gotta get in there every coupla hours to check for her (HOPEFULLY) to make sure shes not getting burnt up by lights. I'm thinking its going to have to be a scrog because, i mean seriously, have you gone in wal mart and stacked two rubbermaids on each other? its actually a bit more awkward than it leads you to believe. I suggest you do it. Mine was an impulse buy because they were cheap and I was lifted.
My hand is in the shot because thats where im planning on having the scrog start, but my question to all of you is how would I WATER them? the top unit comes off, but I really wont be able to take it off as the buds may be disturbed. but assuming i can, i then am hampered by the screen in the way of the plants. somebody help me think this through.

jorge cervantes medical grow bible is the best book ive seen. the set up looks good on a budget. im broke too so i gutted an old entertainment center and wrapped it in the black and white poly. im in cali tho so theres a hydro shop on every corner.

Nice reflector plans. ty. On another note have you ever looked at your plants and been like wth they look not so green. Then u get them out and they are greener than grass. Something about that cfl light trips me out. I'm blue green color blind though :-/

Eh... ive heard my ups and downs about jorge Cervantes. No doubt he's a superstar, but im headed in a bit of a different direction. but i will give his books an honest read through. Cali... Lucky Dawg. my plan was to wait till i saw which ones were female then transplant, but it looks like theyre not really growing too much anymore. I'm a critic of "rootbound" plants, cuz ive seen full grows in small party cups, but i need a little more wiggle room. guess ill just hafta select my favorites and hope for the best. oh, and im running eight ( soft white cfl bulbs all within the range of 26 watts. so at my heaviest, trhats only 200 watts being pulled. plus a fan, and a 12v computer fan im working on the wiring with.

Got my Techniflora nutrients in yesterday, $40 off amazon for a sampler pack that will last till my next grow. must be time to change pots. plants are not showing any signs of growth over past three to five days. still healthy, just not mush going on. this makes day eight since i switched over to 12/12 light schedule and i gave them 60ml waterings composed of the bc bloom and boost, sugar daddy, cal mag, and thrive b-1 at half strength. also working on further light-proofing the cab. outside has double coats of matte white and black spraypaint, inside has the matte black. need a 12v dc power adaptor to run my computer fan, which i cant seem to find, but other than that im okay. temps are excellent, between 15C (60f) at its coldest and 23C (75f) at its hottest, basically playing the waiting game till plants show sex. but ill be making cuts to the all-star linup very soon if i dont see some improvement.

i pulled three plants out of the grow, bringing the total down to six. seeing 5th to 6th node height, day 10 flower. not seeing sex yet, but hopeful for at least 3 females. gonna buy some bungie cords for a diy screen, with a pvc base. ive got the pvc already, but its not finished, so no pix yet.
