Newbie Indoor Question!

Im a newbie in growing im going to start growing in my closet in anchorage when i have enough money for the small grow operation...the questions wanted to ask is:
1. what kind of soil, seeds and other stuff you need?
2. is there any indepth guides for growing weed?week by week guide or something but really indepth?
3.are In-line Duct Fan's safe or what fans should i get because I'm curious
4.what prevents the weed smell? are homemade active carbon filters good or should i get a carbon/ozone filter off ebay and make my own homemade one also with some spray to use?
5. final question is what kind of materials should i use to my stand to hold my weeds, what to put my weeds in, and what i should put in the closet.

you need to start doing some reading, there's alot of info in this forum, and there's always google. Use the search tool above, and read, and then read some more

Sorry i didn't answer your ?, i'll give it a go, but i'm no expert
1 I use pro mix(others use fox farm)
2marijuana growers bible(or just read the shit on this forum)
3inlines are very safe ( just use common sense)
4yes carbon filters are the way to go
5 sorry don't really understand that ?

As far as what to put them in Grow Bags (really cheap and good) Aeration Containers (better but more cost). vkambull is right, READ everything. Befoe you start or order anything, get it right in your head, then come back here for help on what you screw up. If you've never planted a garden before you really need to start from the basics. If you have but never indoors it's a totally different game. Weed is by far one of the trickiest things I've ever grown.
Seeds.......any reputable seed company. They are one the net and very good (and funny) about how they get you those seeds. Don't grow bag seed junk. Hard to learn when you aren't sure of the strain, genetics, and flowering time.
Keep a journal of everythinh you do with your plants.
Most of all take your time. Plan and you will be rewarded.

im always up to help a new grower and id love to give u all the info you need, problem is, your so new to the scene that i can tell from your questions that you should definitely do tons of research first...their is alot of good videos on youtube, there is step by step guides on here how to grow, and there is books u can buy online with very precise directions....after you get your feet wet, id be more than happy to help you get your closet grow going, i have tons of tips and tricks for venting, humidity control, odor, lights, saving money and much more...i currently run a little three pack until i decide i wanna go bigger but mine is working perfect and produces like a QP every harvest....heres some pics.good luIMG_20110524_194426.jpgIMG_20110524_194411.jpgView attachment 1623424ck!
