DWC Scrog Grow Extrema & El Monstre!

Now maybe these ladies will ripen up now that all nutes are out of the water.
Since flushing again today the PPMs have remained around 63.
Which is a whole lot better than the 188 PPM that they were at.
When I flushed, I tried to rinse the roots off as I was draining the water to clean off any excess nutes.
Seems to have worked.

Thinking they were 8-9 wks. I didn't know they were 10-12 wks til you asked me about the strain.
My Extrema is 8-9 wk though so that's good. They should be pretty close in a week. Will be 11 weeks then.

I'm hoping to get about 2 oz per plant. It will be close.
From the premature bud I have smoked off of it. It was very smooth and had a good taste.
The ripe and cured budz should be alot better.

Hey Bluberry, have you tried decreasing light in the final week? Starting tonight I'm shutting off my lights a half hour earlier each day til they are down to eight hours of light and sixteen hours dark. Suppose to help the plant ripen up. I read a couple of articles saying this works wonders with white widow so I'm gonna see how it does with the RBC. Just a suggestion, might help you get those amber trichs you are looking for. Love your new camera btw.

I've got some Juliet (C99xRandom Sativa). That shit makes my nose tingle, and I eventually sneeze when I smoke it. It's super weird

Yeah, I noticed certain strains make your nose sting? I think it's the strong Sativa hybrids that do it most.

Well they are 10-12 wk and are on week 10. Not gonna rush them too much. I currently have them on 10/14 off.
I may cut them back to 8/16 in a couple days and let them go thru the week. I plan to harvest next weekend which will be 11 weeks.

Nope. I said I was hoping to get a solid one oz bud from them.
One bud weighing over an oz. But like 3-4 oz total from both.
Initially wanted 4-6 oz but I don't think I'm gonna get that off this grow.
I'll be happy either way.

I stopped trying to predict how much i'm going to harvest. Considering i'm only on my first grow i will be happy with just having great buds. Further down the line after trying different techniques i will know which is best for getting the big yields.

Not so much trying to guess my yield. More of trying to reach a goal. I like to set a goal amount and see if I can achieve it.
But I do agree with ya on being happy about great buds.

Today is Week 10 and still no amber trichs. They are 10-12 wkrs so maybe they will show some amber soon.
Was planning on going another week. What do you guys think? Another month til chop? Lol. Shit I hope not..
They have been flushing for bout 3-4 weeks. Crazy, I know.. Added extra 30 minutes to dark period. Now 14 1/2 hours of dark.
It gets me high now and burns good but it's lacking that extra punch.

Giving them 15 hours of darkness for the rest of the week. Then 36 hours of darkness to finish them up.
They are still not gonna be amber but I will still be very pleased. Cuz the premie buds I have smoked got me good and high.
Tied over a couple branches so the backside of them can get more light to ripen up.
Chopped a bud off that seemed to be the ripest on the plant. Weighed 30 g wet so I figure about 10-15 g dry.
I have smoked about 10 g so far. Trying to keep track so I will have an idea of an overall yield.
I think I did okay for my first hydro attempt and will have some good smoke. But I know I could have done so much better.
By flushing to soon was a real fuck up on my part and it caused unecessary stress to the plants and buds.
I have noticed a couple nanners but have not seen any seeds. I have been looking really closely for the past week.

My 2 Extrema sprouts and El Monstre clone are doing great in my other cooler under the CFLs. HOPING to get a female from one of the Extremas.

I'm like you my first RDWC and boy did I make some mistakes, I have a few dark trichromes but am impatient to get my new stuff growing. Should have my giant system up in a couple weeks. Put 10 plants in for sexing and got 6 males so far. 2 KO Kush, 1 UberKush, 1 Anesthesia , 1 Double Kush and 1 Jack Berry.
