So currently I am running 2x 600's on a flip flop system every 12 hours and then have a 550W LED + 136W of fluoro in the veg room on a 16/8 cycle. The 550W actually draws +/- 400W.
More info is that flower room 1 starts up at 8:45am and turns off at 8:45pm and then flower room 2 turns on for the next 12 hours. The veg room turns on at 1pm and turns off at 7am to make the most of night time electricity savings whilst flower room 1 is going.
So in total I'd be running almost 1200W at any one time. I'm in an apartment in the UK and am considering bumping up to 1000W in the flower rooms in cooled hoods, the veg room would not change at all.
I know that this is no where near enough to ring alarm bells but I'm wondering what other UK growers are getting away with so that I can compare to and what I can get away with really.
