Ok i have grown outdoors for years and i know how to sex plant's but this is my first year growing purchased seeds i have bought female seeds of multiple strains Aurora indica, kaya gold,Northern lights and swiss cheese.
My question is this. today i visited some i put out about 3 weeks ago they are around 3 feet tall and showing female usually my plants won't sex until mid july towards the end of july is this normal behavior for female seeds.

3 foot tall auto in 3 weeks? I think its more likely to be earley pre flowers. And yes pre flowers are normal but usually take a month but that depends on strain.

Do you know how long your days and nights are ?

you can put your info in here and find out

Im not quite sure but i believe if you have under 14hrs of daylight then theirs enough in the night cycle to still flower

that happened to me before ,

i had some growing indoors then in april after the threat of frost i put them out and they started flowering cuz it was still to early

im not saying this is your case though

hell it might just be the strain your growing , just shows sex early

maybe it's the strain i hope so

i wasn't sure if female seeds showed their sex early or something

they are pretty much full sun all day

as for the exact time i dunno i checked like 2 weeks ago and we were getting 13 hrs 45 mins. daylight time steadily getting longer

That`s it right their

it is still just a little early and they had enough dark cycle to start to flower

but they will revert and start veggin again now that the days are getting longer

That N.l i have flowering in my cab is one of the ones i put out early also lol

shes almost done now

What gets me is i always plant beginning of may and have never had this problem before. Well i'm not calling it a problem yet just different

Only difference this year i can think of is the female seeds plus i started these earlier than usual so my plants were older when put out.

i dunno if this would of caused it though but i got out 73 females as of right now and don't want them to all start flowering yet.

weather has been shit but it's coming round down my way little warm but much needed sunshine.

As long as they don't start budding im fine with them showing me a little hair...lol

Yeah, canna can typicaly show sex as early as 4-6 weeks. Around about the 5-6 node some indicva strains will show...males usualy first then females following. You can expect it by the time the nodes start to diverge ( not come in paralell to each other)
