Can't we all just get along? I agree, mygirls is a little too happy about the subject, but he/she has a right to their opinion. It is also their thread.
I do not see this conversation adding to anyone's life, so let's just stop the junk. Wayno did not like the idea people were cheering folks getting busted. That is not so bad. Wayno, Lost Reef obviously knows what he is talking about, so just accept that the grey area was not so grey once all the DA's in the state signed the paperwork last week. Most of us out here are rooting for dispensaries to become legal, and the fact is that more than 50 percent of voters that VOTED did not want dispensaries. So, everyone, get out there and vote, and make it happen. Stop this infighting amongst medical marijuana patients, we are all hoping our rights expand, but we need to work for it.
And just to remind everyone out there, if all we did for growers was to pay their expenses (which is what a lot of people are suggesting), the growers would never make a living from what they do, and therefore, your quality of product would be crap, because the people that make it have to make a living, or spend a lot of time making a living AND growing for you. My suggestion is that once dispensaries are legal, we all need to realize that these growers, and their knowledge, are both valuable, and worth fair compensation. And let's not forget that a lot of us medical marijuana patients have benefitted from the massive knowledge of BLACK MARKET GROWERS, because, until 1998, ALL GROWERS WERE BLACK MARKET. So, just stop before you call folks greedy, and ask yourself how did we get to where we are at?
So, really, stop hating on the black market.....it was the original dispensary.....and gave us some goals to shoot for in terms of improvement of the industry.
