Can't Lower Temperatures For Strain To Be Purple Any Other Ways?

I heard that soma puts ice cubes in his soil for his strain lavender which stops the uptake of phosphorus which causes a purple hue. What do you guys think. I am also using purple maxx.

Hearing someone does it and them really doing it is two different things.

To me if you have a strain that is known to have purple genitics then a few things help. One is cooler night temps but the one that seems to work for me is seaweed extract. Only the good stuff.. it's needs to be cold press like seaplex or bioweed. Worked awesome on some granddaddy I use to run. not purple leaves but purple all the way down into the flower.

Also, purple max.. I don't know man.. on the back they tell you they don't know how it works or why it works only that it works.. and that it's an experimental mix not meant for retail.. They've been saying that for 5 years..

yup it does work but your genetics need to be there. I run my res at 58 degrees for the last 10 to 14 days and they start to color.

Why do you want it purple? A plant that is purple usually indicates stress,unhealthy etc
