My method exactly. Add a leaf or two and "burp" the jar until you get the consistency where you want it. Next time, as soon as the stems of the drying material "snap" instead of bending...it's ready to jar. Then just open the jar a few times a day to make sure it doesn't stay moist and create mold. Better to jar too dry than too wet...but you can always take it back out of the jar and dry some more. Depending on how you dry, the humidity and temp...drying time can vary, my fat colas usually take about 4-5 days to be ready to jar.I've been growing for about a year. I'm no expert, but from what I've heard, put a leaf from your plant into the same jar and allow it to redistribute the moisture. some say to use a wet paper towel, but I think the leaf is safer due to mold. maybe pop the jar less often once the leaf is in there so it can really redistribute.
What, exactly, does sorta dry mean? Are the stems bending or snapping?Basically explains it all in the title, I cut all the sugar leaves and such off, dried for a bout 10 day and have been curing 1 day, the buds still seem sorta dry. What should i do?
