High Wattage Growers Unite (2000w+)

Hey everyone welcome to the high wattage thread. I've been poking through here and haven't found a thread like this but please let me know if one already exists. I know that when I'm looking for info on here I look for threads that are environmentally similar to my grow but they're often hard to find because I run 3400w in a 15x10 space. I'm trying to get a collection of HWG(high wattage growers) to join up and give tips and info on these BIG, BADD systems. From construction, electrical, and cooling techniques, to dealing with equally BIG yields and everything in between. So come on boys and girls let the info flow and show us what you got!

hey hellraizer welcome to the party! im still new to riu and haven't had much luck with stating up forums but I hope this one takes off! TELL ALL UR HWG friends! lol lets see some pics.

im in on this one and subbed, hope this one takes off too should be fun. im running 2400 watts of hps in flower the room size is 13x17x8 but the platform i built for the plants to sit on to keep them off the carpet is 12x7. here are a few pics the smaller ladies in the ebb and grow system where transplanted to the system in early flower from my prior sog system (flood and drain tables) so they where not vegged long next run should be better for sure.

thanks for joining up drgreen. the set-up looks killer, those ceilings look really tall. how high? u could grow some MONSTERS in there! i wanna build a room in my garage w/ 12 ft ceilings and put some girls 30gal smart pots w soil and see how big i can get em! id love to see a 1lb indoor plant. ur room looks CLEAN man and that white widow looks purty!

My set up
8000 w (4 1k parallel ducted hoods)
Over an NFT system w (5) 20' , 6" pvc tubes w (16) 3" net pot ports per tube (80) total girls
Room is 27' x 15' x10' shop
Strains: (45) GDP clones, and (35) White Widow clones
Nutrients: full HG line minus shooting powder + snow storm ultra and gravity by humboldt nutes.

New veg room
(2) 400 w MH
Over (2) 40 Site aero boxes i built

And exciting, i harvest soon, ill then be back in civilization where i can upload some pics...
And post some results 10-12 plz X ur fingers for me or ill have some angry investers to peddle

thanks man yours looks great too, my ceilings are 9' the white widow is doing good im hoping she will hit the 12 to 16 oz mark she was vegged for 8 weeks and topped twice so she has got branches everywhere. here are a few more pics she has grown since that pic. also just ordered some green house super critical and they are supposed to have amazing yields so if i dont hit that mark this time around soon i will lol.

sounds like a kick ass grow lab my friend and wow 8000 watts thats crazy cant wait to see some pics. hopefully this thread takes off i love looking at some big grow rooms for ideas and all that good stuff.

One thing I havnt got is a c02 burner, with all the air moving i dont think it would be worth it.

Here is my room from beginning throughout some of the construction. I really wish I had taken more pictures from the process.

Room Specs
~15x10x8
~15 plants
~5x600w hps Sunleaves King Cobra lights (42.75x30)
~hydroponic drain to waste system
~5 gallon mesh bottom pots with ready grow and hydro ton mixture
~5 trays (3x3) with mushroom bags each tray for CO2

yo im runnin 2 1000w lights right now (1000w mh & 1000w hps) and im about 2 get 4 more 1000w hps ballasts, lights and hoods and im gunna split each 1000w in2 2 600w light...(the guy at my hydropontics store said the 1000w ballasts could run 2 600's) and im gunna have a 15x15 (aprox) space...... so im deffinatly subbed

Hey sudynim, I'm glad I can take part in your thread. I may have a friend adding some equipment to my grow and adding two more rooms as well. If this happens my grow will be 1000w x 5... crossing fingers!! I'll update more later. I'm going back to bed

hell ya guys! I think 600s r the way to go anyway, with enclosed hoods and the proper air flow u can lower ur lights right on to p or ur canopy (10-16") allowing max penetration without the temp issues! Of course if u have 1000w lights u can cover more space with a higher output of initial lumens to degrade over distance. I do 3 girls in a 3x3 per light. Some ppl swear by the 1000w i am a 600w man myself. lol But Id love to see some pics!
