Tomato Feed ? (Help)

Hi Buddy. I have the same type of CFL under a Hydrofarm hood. You want the lights about three inches away from the plants. When the first sprout, they get all their food from the baby leaves, called cotyledons. After the cotyledons fall off the, it starts using the nutrients in the soil. Most soils, even weak ones like Miracle Grow Seed Starting Potting Mix contains plenty of nutrients for the first couple of weeks.
Normally when growing cannabis you want two fertilizers. The first one is for veg cycle and should mostly be just Nitrogen. The second fertilizer is for the flowering cycle and should contain mostly phosphorus and potassium. Because your growing an auto, your probably aware that they skip the veg cycle and go straight into flower. It will still need Nitrogen for the leaf development, but I would go with a general purpose all-in-one fertilizer. You can tell by looking at the bag's NPK rating. If it's 1-0-0, that means its all Nitrogen, if it's 0-1-1, then it only has phosphorus and potassium (perfect for flowering). A general purpose fertilizer will look something like 1-1-1 (or 12-12-12 if you like big numbers).
The numbers are ratios and means percent per weight. 1-1-1 is the same as 10-10-10 but is more concentrated so you'll use a lot less of it.
Look at your compost bag and tomato fertilizer bag and read the NPK values. That will help you figure out what you got.

Thanks for the reply Vindicated I am not that good with PH because i have no PH Tester, but im pretty good with fertz because of the simple NPK rating, i shall check the NPK's tomorrow as there is not enough light outside, my plants are 3 week old and i have removed the cotyledons from the 2 larger plants today because they was really drooping and starting loose shape, also gave them a feed of tomato feed, 2litre of 'Tap Water' {im from england so we have a lot of limescale in the water} to an 8th of a cap full of 'Tomato Feed' {Basic Wilko's Brand} which lasted 2 days for all three {i am a noob remember}, i have my light around 10-11'inch away from the plants, i will move them closer tomorrow after the dark hours so as not to interfere in anyway.
Anymore help that you may have would be really appreciated.

Sorry , this may sound stupid what is 'chong on' because i am worried about them stretching or stunting

stretching is just when they are reaching for the light, so they become taller rather than short and bushy. If you're growing under CFLs then you can get the light to within a couple of inches and it wont burn your ladies, just be sure to keep adjusting it as they grow. other than that its looking good.
As for the chong bit, i guess he's talking about cheech and chong, just telling you to keep up the good work, but thats just a guess.

what is the npk ratio for your tomato feed?

3-1-2 is a good ratio for vegging cycle. If you pH is too high thou it wont allow your palnts to accept nutrients. If you have access to eBay you can get a simple pH meter for under $15.00. If you want to grow for yield and quality you have to have the basic tools. A pH meter is a basic.
