I think I stunned my plants

I applied fertilizer for the first time a few days ago. Today I notice some yellowing/browning on the tips of a cpl of my plants. all 10 plants seem to have stopped growing. Only 2 however are showing signs of yellowing/browning. Can fertilizer stun growth of plants? They were about 3-4 inches. On their 2nd set of leaves. Didnt have a true set of leaves yet.

you cooked em with nutes...you shouldnt feed a seedling anything until about 3 weeks.
flush em out as good as you can, maybe they will recover

So bascially if they dont recover they will not grow anymore and eventually just die?

Yes, basicly what happened was they were exposed to nutrients they didnt really need and couldnt possibly eat, so the burn happned. Its not deadly in bigger plants, but the fact yurs is small and has a small rootmass...the roots are drinking toxic stuff and have nowere to go. Your growth stunted as a side effect to the overnute. Weed is a pretty tuff plant, it will survuve some pretty heavy shit. Hopefully flushing will save yours......but lesson learned lol. Sometimes we gotta learn the hard way, next time ask a question if your not real sure about what your doing...its better to ask a stupid question than to have to throw your plants away. Good luck man!

Thanks man! I never used pro-mix before I was iffy because it didnt have any nutes in it. Damnit! How long do you think it will take to kill my plants off? I dont want to be teased with them looking all nice and actually suffering! I'd rather up root them and start over. Will I know if their going to die or make it? Or will it be a long process of not growing and slowly dying?

looks like you got water/ nutrients directly on the leaf there isnt burn right at leaf tips
The second pic has some at the end, the rest of burnt part chipped away wen i touched it. I think however I did get some of the water/nutes on the leaves. I gave them a nice heavy watering today. I wont water again for a few days while i monitor their health. PS when I first applied the nutes I did 1/4 the recommended dose.

Actually theres burn on the tips in both pics. BUT I do recall getting some water on the leaves. Does this look like that type of burn rather than nute burn?

Nothing wrong with Pro-mix. Slight evidence of foliar fertilizer burn but, if this the worst 2 of 10 plants then you have no real problem. They should recover on their own if simply watered (only) for the next several weeks with no goofing around with concoctions/potions. Next time wait until they are a minimum of 1 month old before applying any fertilizer. Be patient.

Bruh, homeboy is wrong who is stating they are hopeless. They will grow. Just stop feeding them the nutes. Let them recover and then be chill with the nutes until they are bigger.

who said they were hopeless? he asked if they could die and i said yes..but also told him to flush them and they might recover.....RTFP next time noob...plus there was no pix

Now i see the pix..they dont look bad at all, like someone mentioned its jus a lil onset of nute burn. They will be fine witha flush

and ProMix is real good stuff, they have a sea mix one that is real good to.

Well. The furt burn has got NO WORSE...BUT My growth is still stalled! THIS FUCKING SUCKS! Day after day after day the new set of leaves its tryna grow are STILL in the same stage of growth on ALL my plants. FUCK! I got worried because pro-mix has no nutes in it and i saw a bit of dropping on my leaves, resulting in my feeding them. I only fed 1/4 the recommended dose. How could that lock them up? Oh well fuck it. if they dont start g rowing here in a cpl days I'm emptying the buckets out. Buying some Fox Farm Ocean Forest and starting over....sigh Heres some pics! That new set of leaves their tryna start has been the SAME for days that cant be normal is it?005.jpg003.jpg002.jpg001.jpg004.jpg

I wouldn't start over... transplanting them will stunt them more... Just be patient. Some days they seem like they don't grow at all and then other days they double in size in just a few days. They look healthy, just because you can't see them getting bigger, they could be focusing on theyre root game.

I just wish I seen that new set of leaves grow -=/ I fail to believe I stunned ALL 10 plants. But it seems that way.

I'll give it a few days. If I dont see anything I guess I'll rip em up. Get some more soil, reorder seeds.
