If you can get a handheld scope they are pretty cheap.

If not here is a pic of a diesel ryder that looks ready.

Wait for the hairs to turn and shrivel a bit.

Noon pics. and height update.

Snowryder #1 is 7 1/2"
Snowryder #2 is 7"
Snowryder #3 is 17"
Snowryder #4 is 8"

The Snowryders grew a bit overnight (well night for me), I raised the light a bit and they also had good bud growth as well.

Mr. Snowryder has stretched alot since being isolated and not recieving 24/0 of light and just gets sunlight from within the house.

The White Sharks are doing great. #1 has shown no more signs of major deficiencies since the transplant and is going to produce the bigger of the buds, since it has fewer branches and more light reception.

White Shark #2 is doing wonderful, more tops than I would like to count. The buds are coming on nicely though. I still do not see any frost yet.

The Tops of the 2 Sharks are about 16" - 17" tall now, the supercropping I did a few days back has helped and also has given plenty more of light space to the lower and smaller buds. The bends from the supercropping are awelling and bulking up, hope the buds follow and do the same.

Hi all,-
Just wanted to say hi and include a pic of my 2 auto - low girl #2 .. There's quite a diff in the 2 plants and i cant seem to understand why really, theyve gotten more or less the exact same treatment- anyway here goes..
plant #1 you can slowly start to notice pestils at the top, its on day 18 btw and about 1ft tall.
plant #2 no pestils yet, and i hope that it will stretch a bit more before also..
I have been running them on 18/6 since start.. Any suggestions are welcome, ...
ps. I did some LST on #1 aswell, basically just to make the plant a bit broader, and get more light on it... Does it look ok?

#1 - showing signs/small pestils :D plant(1)
#2 - about 1 ft. and 18days old. LST'd plant(1)
#3 before LST, pic taken same day as the rest.. plant(1)

#4 1/2 ft. 18 days aswell, dunno why its such a big difference in these two.. plant(2)
#5 better view pheraps.. this pic was taken at 16 days .. plant(2)

My 2' 4 bulb is being used by the Snowryders and I do love the T-5's so far for veg.
Would love to have a Hps for the bloom stage, but space & heat was the reason for not going that route at this time.
Do you know by chance know which company makes the best T-5 bulbs? Have you seen any video's on comparison grows with different bulbs?

What is your thought on leaving a couple blue bulbs in my 6 bulb T-5 during bloom. Red, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Red?
Not sure man I just use the bulbs that came with it from HydroFarm. They are plenty bright though. First time I used it I burned the plants pretty bad. Was used to my T8's.

I never used it for anything other than veg, so your guess is as good as mine regarding keeping the blue bulbs in. I know some people do that with CFLs. One thing I noticed is that the blues promote branching significantly. Don't know how that would effect them during flowering.

Thanks again, Sonar:)

Closer than 4" I start to see burned leaves or tops myself on the T-5. I try to keep them around 5"-6" from the Top.

Chopped my Easyryders at day 67 today. They were done. One was a runt, the other much bigger.
I noticed that with my easy ryder grow last year. The "tall" pheno was much better IMO. Had a nice fruity smell to it. Almost like fruity pebbles.

Evening Pictures for you guys.bongsmilie

Last photo of Mr. Snowryder #3, he is now composting.;-)

I collected the pollen and stored it in the freezer, I also pollenated the 3 Snowryders and a few more flowers on White Shark #2.
