howdy ive had a hermie and i cloned it before it turned on me so im pretty sure shes a female, but could i use the dutch master reverse spray at the start of flowering just to make sure theres no hermies next crop?? bad idea??

You could, thats for sure. Wether or not its worthwhile/needed is actually the important part, I'd say no imo. Get the reverse and penetrator and watch the clone/s carefully, if you need to use it you'll have it on hand and be ready to go right away.

Seen the new product out budwise? Female hormone, guaranteed girls with two sprays at turning even with reg beans and prevents hermies too, i've used it and heard many success stories about it, bout 30 bucks a bottle, tiny bottle but it's like 2ml per litre in the spray and don't need much

Never heard of it. I'm interested though, you say 2 sprays of it can turn a plant that would of been a male female? I'm skeptical but with an open mind. I'll have to look into it more. Thanks for the heads up, i hope your right about it, if you are it would be a great find.

whats the name of the product itself?budwise appears to be the company name. I've not found alot of info about any of their stuff. the only stuff i saw close to what you described is the bud wise female hormone and it doesnt say it can turn males female from the info i see. if their is some more info out there that you know of i'd love to see it.

sounds like it just kills male flowers and stops more from forming, just like reverse does. If youve used it and it works did you keep the data from the experiment showing it works? how many times have you used it? Just so you know and dont take it the wrong way-im not attacking you or anything. You've gotten my interest and i wish to know more.

Hey buddy not entirely sure of the exact name, i'm due for a new bottle in a week in prep to turn so i'll get it on monday on throw up the exact name. But the product i use is definately used outside of the instructions but this was indeed after experimenting and keeping data, i'll dig some up later on and see if another friend kept his, but the female hormone i use has shown a 100 percent success rate with having reg burns turn female-if this was genetics or the product is still unclear though, and i haven't seen a single banana on anyone's plants that use it even with unstable fem beans and stressed or hermied clones, i also use it as after research if you already have things pretty dialled in it can help the plants reach that next level or in some instances just like with people, the hormones are lacking for one reason or another and this helps those plants that were lagging behind or struggling at all keep up with the others. I love the stuff, hasn't steered me wrong so far

Sounds like confirmation bias. It seems doubtful that you have discovered an application for this product that the manufacturer is unaware of, especially one with so much profit potential. Also seems a little odd that you used an entire bottle, experimented with it, loved the results, and forget the name.

Anyhow, reverse can be used as a preventative IF you have genetics that you know are prone to hermie. Otherwise be very vigilant about reducing stress (light leaks, heat, ect) and just keep the reverse for when it's needed. Reverse works great but will NOT change a true hermie, will not make a male a female, and will not keep male parts from forming in the face of ongoing stress.
