ABM you should know I keep that swag. This unemployment just gave me time to get my degree in growing the last few years. I'm understanding the plant alot better now. After beeing off and working with it every day in some capacity. Dirrtyd
iT DEFINITLY MAKES A DIFFERENCE WHEN YOU DO IT FULL TIME NO DOUBT. I will have to make the trip over too, cause I would be proud to help keep that girl alive!!

I just wish that I could have more time to dedicate to it as well. I would love to move out of the hobby phase and help some people out that are in need. It's not about the $$$ either. It's just something that I have come to love doing! Now that I think of it I think that I have only taken a donation on about an OZ of the stuff that I have grown. The rest was given away to those that were in need or shared with good friends. :) I am too nice. LOL

I think when you got it down you actually spend more time just admiring your work versus working on the plants. I do alot of visual inspections on my plants but I only water every other day until the end of the month. The lavendar tea killed the pests had to rinse them and some eggs found dead on a plant off with the water hose. I'm glad it works its organic and simple to make. It will get rotated in and out with BT all summer. Keepem green dirrtyd

I spend hours on the weekend just staring at them. It's so peaceful and serene. :) I updated my thread BTW.. :)
Tell me about it just got back in from watering the gurls. The DQ in the greenhouse bought and put straight into the greenhouse is now 3ft by 3ft this is going to be a monster. We still have six more weeks of veg left she is going to definitely fill up the greenhouse. ABM looking like I can get 3 out of her this year if she dont slow down. I'm going to push her these next few weeks. The casey jones is exploding two feet and rising she went in the ground late may I think clone. Keepem green dirrtyd

Damn man you are moving things! I can't wait to see them all start to flower. It's gonna be a beautiful sight! ;)
Going to go out and take me some pics of the stalks. All plants are on full go seems like the weather is really letting them blossom. Cant wait to see them in the middle of next month I will pretty much know the returns by the budsites. If the almanac holds true should not be a wet October this year. Keepem green dirrtyd

Yes they are doing fine at this moment will be buying a cubic ft of wormcastings to topdress all of them with the rest of the summer.

They look great! And with the time we have left you have a busy winter on your hands as well! :D
Oh yes they will give me alot of work come October and November. Just bought a thousand red wigglers for 18 bucks with cocoons the whole nine. So building me a diy worm bin then ordering a wormbin 360. I hope everyone sees where I'm headed with this. Next year will be using my own wormcastings and my own worm tea. I felt this guys wormcastings they felt like silk only hope I can farm worms as good as him. Keepem green dirrtyd

Just let a whole container of ladybugs go in the greenhouse. Want to see how long they will stay in the heat getting ready to mist the gurls it is so hot for my babies they loving it though. All plants are reaching for the sky for sure the little opening I have been doing is working great. Went and bought some worm castings today going to topdress all the container plants with it.Keepem green dirrtyd

Well went to check on the ladybugs in the greenhouse and to my suprise the preying mantis cocoon had done its thing mantisis everywhere. I started getting them and moving them to different plants in the ground so now all plants have at least one working. Will be interesting to see how long they stay around I will mist the plants it seems to wrk with the ladybugs. The DQ continues to amaze me she is going to be a beast. She is taking over the Greenhouse. the potted plants will have to leave the confies of the greenhouse soon. keepem green dirrtyd

Well went to my favorite shop in Berkeley today . Picked up 6lbs of 16-16-16 and 6lbs of 3-20-20 for 85 Double JJ tell me I didnt get beat. Well this will feed the potted plants getting ready to really start pushing them. Looks like I will be able to use this for a season or two I will feed only a fourth a recommended dosage. Basically will go with a tablespoon per five gallons. I know my soil is hot enough to last all season. Keepem green dirrtyd
