Force flowering question.

So I plan to force my plants to flower by bringing them into my shed at night and putting them back out 12 hours later in the morning. I did the same last year and had good success.

What im wondering is if I need to continue doing it for the entire length of flowering, or if they will continue budding if I left them out after 2-4 weeks or something. Would be nice if I didnt have to move them in the entire 8 weeks.

I have heard conflicting answers to this and im just wondering if anyone can confirm either way.

Just keep moving them until the natural sunlight is about 14/10 or so, and declining.
Where do you live?
When do the hours hit 12/12 there?

Im in the okanagan valley, BC Canada.

We dont get 12/12 here until around first week of september. Last year things started flowering roughly third week of august, so yeah pretty damn late considering snow comes in mid october potentially.

Anyways, was growing a very heavy sativa last year (Trainwreck) and this year have a bit more variety to my grow.

Still trying to decide if I should attempt to move all 10 in every night or not. Logistically it will be difficult to say the least. The five I moved in last year just did so well though, smaller plants but very nice tight bud. The five I left out, I ended up moving in and having them under lights for 7-8 weeks .. was a bit ridiculous and something im hoping to avoid this time around.

Well the only reason they didnt start flowering until the 3rd week, is because they spent 2 or 3 weeks before that on flowering that you couldn't see.
You could probably get away with leaving them out from august 1st the rest of the time.

But it's all up to you, if you want to put the extra effort to stash them every night, you'll get what you're after.

i would just leave them outside once the second or third week of august hits, the days wont be long enough to support veg by then.

Alright thanks for all the imput. Was planning on starting flowering July 1st so I can really take advantage of the nice hot sun from july/august. I may reconsider and start to flower closer to the end of august maybe. Hrmm.

u can still start flowerin in the beginning of july i just wouldnt worry about bringin them in every night once the middle of august hits, the days will be shorter so they will continue to flower naturally.
