Predict my Yield?

I am on day 36 flowering into my first grow of 5 plants. 2x Barneys farm LSD, 1x Dinafem Diesel, 1x Dinafem Blue Hash, and 1x Kannabia Afrodite. All of which were topepd above the 2nd node. One of the LSD strains has experienced a lack of healthy growth ever since it popped and the Diesel seemed to have had an extremely slow start. They are all under a 400w hps in FFoF soil and Fox Farm soil nutrients. I have no idea what kind of yield to expect, so I will post some pics of day 36 flowering. I would liek to know how much bud I can get off these plants. If anyone can give some predictions or an estimate of what I can yield from all 5 plants it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Im aiming for 10+ ounces of dried bud. Anyone think that is realistic with where I am at?

Between 1/4 and 1/2 LB. But that is just a guess.

10oz is realistic for a 400 watt, I've even seen up to a LB.

But 1/4 to 1/2 LB is most realistic.

but imho. i think 10 ounces is a bit optimistic.
perhaps 4-7 ounces. but then again. its difficult to judge the size and density of the plants through a picture especially without anything in the pic for size comparison purposes.

I've never grown with a 400w before, but I would imagine they don't offer the density that a 1000w does, right? The plants look incredible (especially for day 36) I'm sure everyone would agree on that, but I don't think 10oz is gonna happen because of the whole density thing.

You might be able to hit 10 0zs but you are going to have to let them flower at least 11 to 12 weeks.

You are spreading your light out a little thin, you're only getting 25 watts per square foot. For a 4 x 4, you can put a 1000 watt in there.

I plan on chopping the top buds at around days 55-65 then let the lower budsites get some growth in for 2-4 weeks. Do you think that would work as effectively yeild wise?

i would not give that kind of advice if you do not know what strain is being grown. every strain or genetic of a specific strain has its own flowering cycle. i would harvest around 70% of the hairs turning brown, or get a scope and harvest when most of the trichs are cloudy in color.

With the 400w I keep the temps typically around 84-86 during lights on, unfortunately I doubt I could keep good temps with a 1000w

Yes, I have a microscope. I still need to look into how and when to harvest though

5 weeks in there not done growing...and most people say 70-90% of the weight is water so I'd wait it out for a estimate before I yield like 4 oz off 3 plants with a 400w hps before

You would definitely need a bigger fan with a 1000 watt. Mid 80s is already questionable with HID lighting.

If I were to use a 400 watt HPS again, I'd use it in 30" x 30" area at the biggest. Nicer and denser buds only come from having enough light. Although lumens really don't matter to plants, lumens are only relative to what humans can see, they do give you an idea of light intensity, and you're only around 3500 lumens psf, that is really not enough, 10000 is much better.

quite funny considering the ONLY strain mentioned in this post to even go 10 weeks is the diesel. every other strain is described as 65 days or less flowering time.
maybe you can research the same thing i did, and realize the advice your giving isn't necessarily the best advice that could be given.

obviously stating that you should let them flower for 11-12 weeks is inaccurate. especially when the strains have a variance of up to 15 days.

im not knocking you, so dont take it that way. i just would rather give accurate advice, as i would expect if i were to ask a question.
