huh ......., im 30 years old n bin around this community alot longer than you my friend , i find your comments insulting., it dosent matter to me wether your 15 or 50 what matters to me is that everyone is treated the same no matter what colour , religion or belief you hold ,..............if you are happy with being descriminated against coz you dont believe in say 'allah ' than thats fine with me but please dont insult people who have the strenght to stand up for themselves no matter what they believe in , everyone is equal in my veiw .

its first amendment, freedom of religion. and since you have no religion, you're free to remove your head ware like everyone else. :) they wouldnt make a jewish man remove that little hat they wear, or deny a sikh his turban. if the hats/accessories are a part of their religion, their rights would be violated in being ordered to remove them. At my h.s, they banned blue and red. yet, a muslim girl only had one niquab, and it was red. they asked her to remove it, but then realized it was religious and let it go. life isnt fair anyway

You are retard! You want some information to back it up? Here you go. Did anyone tell you not to wear a hat because you don't believe in a god? Are you the only person on your job that's been told not to wear a hat? Did anyone say that only people of a certain race or religon couldn't wear hats. No retard because that would be against the law. I promise you that at no point did management consider religon when the no hat policy was put into place. Tell you what you should do to get an answer as to the legality of said policy. Call an attorney, tell him your "discrimination" claim and if they can stop laughing long enough they'll tell you that policy is policy. You are the only person on this planet that'll think this is religiously motivated. Try and start a patition and see how many co-workers will be willing to fight with you to end the descrimination. McDonalds will let you wear a hat. Now either except the fact you can no longer wear a hat at work or get another job. Damn.

what seriousley ? i believe in ju ju up the mountain so why the fuck cant you follow my rules ? arent i an exception? at what point do we deecide what is an exception? do you know the point ? .................even the rasta guy says his beliefs are no more real than my non beliefs , why should i be treated differently and why should he be treated differently coz he claims to believe another religion wich happens to say you cant show your dread locks ?

1)yes i was told i cant wear my hat coz its not of a religious meaning ..................................2)no im not the only person who cant wear a hat , you can only wear a hat if you believe in a religion that forbids you from showing your hair ....................3)yes only people of a certain belief system can wear head ware 4) what did managment consider when they made this rule ? it couldnt of been safety coz if its more safe to wear a hat if i believe in jesus than i f i didnt that would be nonsense , so im not sure what you mean by this ?

well mate neither did i , but when i said i will only remove my hat when the rasta guy does , i was told he was alowed his hat on religious grounds
i said 'but i dont believe in religion ' she said ' well thats your problem , our company does not allow headware unless its for religious purposes ' i said well actually im a african ju ju believer, who can wear a goats skull on my head for religious purpose ' ...............she said ' well ive never heard of that ' ............i said well i guess youve never left the uk ......she agreed , so can i wear my hat , she said , i guess so but our company rules are we send you home , ......me ...ok then see you on monday .

yeah i was going to say i had alapecha (spelling) but i guess it was best to fuck wid there fucked up policy by saying i converted to islam or rastafarian over the weekend , what gets me is they can be so so sensititive if i say i believe in allah , but if i say i simply dont like my hair its of no concern to them wtf ?

i think it falls under "reverse discrimination". what if they said "everyone but jewish people could wear headwear"? they are using religion as a reason. because you lack religion you are lacking certain rights. rights given to those who follow a specific religion. which is even more discriminating.

i could be wrong.

i would seriously call a lawyer. they will clear this up either way in less then 5 mins.


sucks when everyone has to act so HOSTILE. :(
