Hey Guys, first post here, need some advice on my beautiful healthy girl, she is 4 weeks into bloom developing some serious buds but since I changed the lighting 4 weeks ago the leaves have been developing very light green... I have posted some pics and hope some one can shed some light as it does not affect the whole plant and im sure its not a deficiency, thanks for your help.. PH 6-6.3, hand watering, on 12 12 lighting, cyco bloom nutes and cyco potash plus..

can you take a pic with the lights off ? Most likely your experiencing a nitro def or mag def. It will be easier to tell with the other pics

I concur, they need a little boost if they are getting lighter colored in the new growth. You need a little N to stop this and in flower some extra Mag with extra Calcium, the calcium helps the plant use the Mag and N is the Transporter. I had been using fish emulsion with seaweed extract until the past 2 weeks when I tried an organic (they say) cal-mag, 1 cc per liter water. Wow, this really made a difference in the appearance and color. I also love to give molasses in foliar spray a couple of time during flower, does two things, gives you a nice boost of carbs, greens you up a little and is a antifungal agent also. Don't over do foliar feeding this stuff but a tsp per liter is good once every two weeks or so.
Good Luck and Happy Growing

yes please turn hps off for a min to take a pic where we can see the color? Is it just on the top? It might be light bleaching on your leaves ... I have seen this on a buddies plant (hym gold)that was too close to a 1000w hps or can be strain related, too sensitive to intense light, what size light and how far away is it?

Gday thanks for your replies, light is a 400w HPS but I have been trying to keep the light really close like 2 inches from the biggest colar as I live in a cold climate and temp at max is about 26 degrees... I am perplexed as Ive never grown a plant that looks this healthy before but seems to have a prob, maybe the light is just too close eh... Will take some more pics tomorrow and post...

2 inches from cola? yes def light bleaching the leaves? wow...that is way to close for a 400 watt hps should be like 12-14 inches away min...isn't it hot at that spot in between your cola and light? what's the temp there?

Pics under regular light would be great. But seeing the symptoms are at the TOP of the plant I doubt its cal or mag deficiency. Probally more like zinc and iron deficiency. Does your Cyco bloom include micro and trace elements? Light bleaching could also be present......
