There's treachery afoot
So my white widow triplets were taken from a three year old mama but had to keep them in the starter box a little longer than usual. They were getting a bit leggy so crammed them into the flower room and stripped off the bottem foilage to increase light penatration to the buds. interesting thing is, they only gained about six inches of height the first three weeks of flowering, compared to my typical 18 to 24 with this strain. Buds are elongating and appearing oval in spots as opposed to a more round. I guess my question is, did I stunt the growth? It is working beautifully as I constantly fight the height restraints of my flowering space which now is not an issue as these girls are not getting taller, just thicker and more buds every day. I usually just let em grow the way they want to and end up with some pretty big, bushy plants. Kinda like this way, alot less leaves to deal with and Big beefy buds at only three weeks into flowering. Going to try it on another strain soon. Anyone with experience chopping on your plants to modify growth...encouraged to reply.
