My outdoor Seeds Have been germinating for 2 Days and still nothing...

So I started germinating my seeds in a bag with moist paper towel. Its been almost 2 1/2 days and no stems are show. I was thinking about cracking the seeds myself, very carefully. With tweezers or a toothpick to help speed up the germination process.

Anyone have these problems?

Be patient! Do you have them somewhere warm as well? FYI it normally takes me 5 days to crack a seed (not that my method is the best). I put the seeds in water for about 2 days or until the seeds start to sink to the bottom, then I take them and fold them in a paper towel and then place them in a ziplock bag only leaving an inch open in one corner. Then I place that on top of my fluorescent fixture. I usually have a root within 4-5 days.

plant the seeds 1'' in soil and put them under a light for 1 night and guaranteed they will sprout.
