Thanks for the link, but i'm liking Vertigrow's is a lot better. It's a lot cheaper, isn't made of vinyl fence posts, and has way more versatility.
Heath Robinson got 1.8gpw, ive got 1gpw easily and expecting 1.3-1.5 on my current grow, as I expect about 1.7 - 1.9 oz per square foot of canopy. It's all dependent on watts and square footage of the canopy. My canopy size is about 32 sq feet, 3ft inside diameter and 3.5 feet tall screen, and I have 2 600w lights in a 48" cool tube mounted vertically, and running a RDWC similar to the heath robinson flooded tube system.i have seen some amazing vertical grows, but theese are $1,000's and $1,000's of dollars worth of equipment and lights and stuff. The big vertical grows have 8" diameter pipes and the plants are much further than 4" a part..... You can deffinatly get 5 lbs from a vertical grow, just not that particular one you mentioned..
A very good grow is to get about 1 gram per watt of light you have. So 2 600's = 1200 watts, that equalls 1200 grams, = 42 ounces = 2 2/3 lbs give or take. So with everything being perfect ( temperature, humidity, ph, nute PPM) This could theoretically do maybe 2 or 3 pounds.....but again, probably not with the set-up u are inquiring about.

Nice choice of going the vertical route. What is the foot print on your system? how tall are you growing your plants, and how many plants are there?Mmy friend. I'm doing a flooded tube like heath's but a bit larger scale and using 2 1000 watt hps. Id b happy with 4 lbs. Matter of fact I'd b cool with 3 so 5 out of a 4x4 area probably not impossible but hard to imagine
5 knee caps is my goal, and its gonna be tough. i guess i'll have to try it out and let you debbie downers know what happends. again it'll be in a sealed room with a heat exchanger and high output 6" fan attached to a vertically hung 60" cool tube which will be plenty to cool the bitch down. with 162 plants in the sweet spot of the lighting. i m going with 2 600's with enhanced bulbs, 1500 ppm of co2, and foxfarm nutes. hopefully a 1/2 zip off an 18" plant isn't asking too much.Your not going to pull 5 elbows out of a 4x4... For one 3 600's wouldn't even fit and it would hotter then a bitch.
cooltubes. For one 3 600's wouldn't even fit and it would hotter then a bitch.
cooltubes.
5lbs is a lot, but i guess it's as they say: "the sky's the limit"
keep stackin dem trays
Damn....sounds like a sweet set up. as long as you have good temps, humidities, air quality, light intensity, and nutes/pH. sounds like your gonna be swimming in heaven.I have 198 and they are 12 inches before I flowered them . Didn't seem to stretch much . I am running 6 levels with one 1000 hps during veg and doubling now during 12 12. Using a 65 gallon res with a 1300 gph pump and I added airlines and airstones to each level. I figure its never too much oxygen a plant can't take. I'll post some pics in the next few days and if there's something's I can do to make it better .your advice will be greatly appreciated
I pre-ordered them and they aren't available until August 1st, but I will keep you posted.Any updates on this? Was just wondering how your experience with their products was so far.
haha no one believes in me...166 plants can't grow 5 pounds?Of course you can grow 5 pounds in a 4x4 area - it will need to be 38 feet tall and have 6, 600 watt bulbs...
