First Grow - Auto: Advice Anyone?

This is my first auto grow (i've done a handful of other grows with mixed results, was never really that serious before, or now to be honest). Any advice / comments would be very appreciated!

  • Soil: started in pure OceanForest (I know, a little strong, but this guy looks to be pulling through ok).
  • Light(s): I started it under a unknown size flourescent bulb from an aquarium I had, seemed ok for right now and she seems to be doing ok under it. My question is, should I just switch it straight to my 150w HPS or keep it under this light for now? Or a mix of both? My light cycle is 20/4.
  • Water: 5.5-6ph brita filtered water from municipal source
  • Germination: germed in moist warm paper towel for 3 days before planting.
  • Nutes: no nutes. I do own FoxFarm GrowBig. Do I even need this for an auto w/ foxfarm oceanforest? If not, should I get BigBloom or whatever the bloom one is from foxfarm or just let the oceanforest do the work?
  • Grow room: closed closet (2x4). I have a pretty good oscilating fan on it during the day time when the light is on. Temps are around 78-86 low/high. I have mylar but haven't installed yet since I have the flourescent light on it sitting right on top of the little girl... when I decide which closet I'm going to set her up in ultimately and when I switch over to HPS (advice on when to do that?) I'll install the mylar. Heat won't be an issue, i'll be pulling in AC from a duct/vent 1 ft away and use the oscilating fan to exhaust out of the closest. No light in the room, it's unused, so during the night time it gets absolutely no light on it, even though the closest, when closed or partly open isn't "contained" with a barrier to stop light.
The pics below are 4 days post-sprout, so from day of germination, 7 days total.

Don't mind the small leaf or w/e that looks half eaten, fucking worm when I had it outside for a day right after it popped from the papertowel lol. Good thing I killed that mother fucker before moving inside...

Just want to know if my setup and above info seems ok, if I should switch lights yet, or when to do that, and if the size and look of her look ok for 4 days post-sprout. I'm still a newbie even though I have a couple mediocre grows under my belt. First time w/ an auto.

This pic just shows my HPS (turned off) up top, and the florescent light that is currently on...

Yea that light should be alright as long as its close enough for the start. I run my autos on 18/6 for the whole grow and use a 400 hps. So you would definitely be alright to run it under the 150 hps. Just start it pretty far and bring it closer and closer every day until its at a good position to where its not hot to your hand over the plant.
You will need to use some sort of nutes even tho you have the FFOF, I used the same soil and still needed a couple of nice feedings during flower.
I'll keep an eye outfor the progress.

She does look like the soil mighta burnt her a little, but she should pull through.

Here's the updated pics. I also made some changes:
Added 2 regular feminized mystery seeds. Replaced the 150w hps with a 200w CFL for veg. Will bring in the hps at flower. 2 regulars are going to be hydro, 1 auto will stay in soil. So i don't have to have 2 separate grow areas, i'll probably just veg the 2 regulars until the auto is finished, then remove that to cure and switch the 2 regs to 12/12. What do you think will happen if i veg those for 2 1/2 months while the auto finishes? I'll have to tame them I guess, but will that pose any problems to veg for that long? Or, what would happen to the auto if i switch the lights to 12/12 for the other 2 plants? I know the autos are supposed to stay 18/6 or 20/4, but do you think it would fuck things up if i went to 12/12 eventually when i want to move into bloom on the 2 hydro's?

Temps are stayin ok about 78 all day/night.
Humidity around 60.

Here is the updated pic at 10 days for the auto:

Nothing detrimental at all. You can grow auto's 12/12 from start without any problems, just wont get quite as big. But since you have the big plants rolling as well, might as well just switch it when they are vegged to your liking. Perfect temps and humidity.

What would the perfect temps and humidity be just in general? I am already planning to pull in some existing duct work from my AC to help cool the area, but right now my temps range between 75-85. Humidity is usually a constant 50%. I see from other posts the temps are fine (although I plan on sticking a HPS in there with the CFL, so i'm definately going to need some extra cooling). But for humidity, I noticed other people say 50-70 is ok, but then be careful when bloom hits so you don't get mold. When buds come in, does the humidity need to be at a specific level?

Yea when they are young and before it starts flowering you can hit them with extra humid conditions. Try to keep mine right around 55-65% range, but even 70 might work. When you start seeing preflowers you might wanna start lowering it a bit little by lil. By the time its in full bud mode Im usually in the 40-50 range. Hitting around 70% is danger zone for mold.

My temps are running a 90 deg. average this grow and plants are doing great. Its all about fresh air exchange and circulation.
