10 gallon Has never failed me.an ideal container size if I was to keep my plants in a container throughout the season?
try growing in the ground and then u might consider the 10 gallons a failure. the difference in yield is off the charts. last year i yielded a little over 5 1/2oz off of a 1 foot platinum og in the ground. that would have never happened in a 10 gal pot. u can still get good quality but i always recommend throwing them in the ground if u can.10 gallon Has never failed me.
Keep them in as much direct sunlight as possible. If they go from inside make sure to train them to handle the sun during some days - at least 3-4 days. If they go from weaker light to lots of direct sunlight they'll get burned.I guess what im trying to ask is should I keep them in a lot of direct sunlight or more in the shaded side?
Use direct sunlight. I live in Hawaii and put my plants directly in the sun, my plants love the sun. I am certain that the sun is a lot stronger in Hawaii compared to N CaliforniaI guess what im trying to ask is should I keep them in a lot of direct sunlight or more in the shaded side?
Same here. MOST of the time it isn't too hot but in 110 degrees and 10% humidity they tend to fry sometimes in the late afternoon sun.I don't know what the weathers like in Cali, but direct sunlight all day here in Texas will kill-even with good watering skills.
That's why I do as much full sun as possible till about three or four, then shade/partial shade the rest of the day. Too damn hot after that.
