what happens if someone gets raided and they have a baby sitting on the couch in front of the front door? or somewhere near where they throw the flashbang? wouldnt that seriously affect the babies hearing? and what about the flash too?

I mean, anyone with any bit of common sense would know that, that child/baby is going to have hearing problems and possibly temporary blindness and or eye problems. I don't think the flash would really leave any perm. effect on the baby/child. However, those flash-bangs are incredibly loud.. and I would almost guarantee you that, that baby/child will have perm. ear drum damage.
This one is hard to litigate.. I mean, while they were probably at fault to a certain level, the police would win that case. Why? Because their the police.. and they can. Secondly.. the attorney or attorney's for the police department, will argue that, the parent or parents of this child/baby are at fault.. for putting the child in the position to where the child is and was exposed to dangerous circumstances and environment.
So yeah, it would be a hard case kinda.. but then again it wouldn't be that hard because like I said, the police are going to argue that to the fullest extent.
I would say that if anyone was to blame.. they would blame the parent or parents of the child/baby.. for putting the child into a dangerous environment (for whatever reason the police busted in for).
So yeah, the parents would lose that battle/case.
Good luck though.
peace.
