Just know that 600 is going to be killer heat unless you have a great (expensive) way to cool it down. But it will grow you some monsters. I say stick with what you have and add a couple more lights along the way as it grows.

People make such a big deal about heat but its not that bad unless ur house is 90-100 degrees ur weed will grow fine with 85-90 temps and most rooms arent even that hot...mine sits mid 80s with no vent just box fan outside closet and have door open most of the time along with a window a few feet away and all is good...Unless like i said it gets to the 90s outside and i just turn my dimmeable ballast down to 450w(quatum ballast)...

Oh yea, like I said, if you can handle the heat then man go get it for sure. I only use a 400 hps and it is quite a bit hotter than the other closet I use that only has about 9 cfl's.

What you think of my avatar it's the top of my main cola the buds are getting really crystaly but I'm using crappy phone cam so youcant see them. Quick ? what type of magnafine glass do I need to see the clarity of the crystals, and how do I know when's she's ready to harvest. Any tips on what she needs now she's ending her life cycle. She's an autoflwer

ive never done autos mate, a 30 x microscope should do it i think............i never use em....i just watch for the buds to swell and hairs to turn colour.....plenty of pk for flowering, should get some hammerhead pk.......

ya but u'll spend more money cooling and venting the grow, most people use cfls because the stay cool, i would never recommend a hps unless ur gonna go 400 or biggerif you put the 150 hps instead of the cfls you will not use anymore electric than you are now, 250 hps even betteras for cost of the 250 hps on electric, if your paying the average price for electric in the uk which is 10p a kw the 250 will cost you 10p every 4 hours its on so for the 18/6 its about 45p a day and 30p when you flick to 12/12.

Yer that's what I thought I can just about control my heat as long as the temps outside don't get much hotter I think il do alright hopefully get some pics up tomorrow my avatar is the only pic it would let me upload last night for some reason but I was a bit leathered can anyone suggest a cheap alternative for the smell other than a carbon filter
Sometimes I can smell it walking up the stairs even with the room door shut but I've got the plants in a wardrobe with door open amd 2 fans blowing into the lights so this can't help.

Yeah u can get odor blockers like ganzo bags ona odor blocker they r cheap and pretty effective unless u have alot of plants going..
