ive never heard of ANYONE getting a card for adhd. and i really dont think theri has.
He is not talking about Oregon, Purp. He is in Michigan. Who knows what their rules are. In Cali, you can get a card for just about anything, so maybe even ADHD? I could care less, I think everyone should be able to smoke if they want to.....ailments or not. I guess for once, I can be considered lucky for having my ailment. a sad LOL.

First off ,i was in the medical forums where i misread something & ended up thinking this was a michigan thread, sorry to hijack another states ongoing issues.

If i offended anybody i appologize, ive had a bad week after my wife's neurologist informed us that the legions on her brain are spreading like a wildfire & that she is allready using the last medication available & its not working any better than the others she' taken, directly after getting the news we stopped by the club so she could pick up some peanut butter cookie medibles & watched as the "kid on the motorcycle" freaked out on our guy running the dispensing counter, exclaiming his adhd should qualify him for the 50% discount we offer other patients because he cant even concentrate without his meds, after hearing my wife get her death sentance from her doc, then seeing the kid proclaim he was as deserving a discount as my wife i kinda wigged out a little.

Ive been upset ever since but my problems are mine & mine alone to deal with, not the memberships, so again im sorry for the rant as well as deserving of the negative feedback left for me about the rant.

But about the add & adhd i spoke of, the answer is yes ,doctors here are writing paperwork by the boat load with add & adhd as the qualifier, which is great because anybody over 18 who wants to use mj should be able to but i dont think they warrant the discount or free smoke given to people with life threatening diseases either.

I like your attitude, not trying to pawn off your problems on anyone else. I'm sorry to hear about your wife man, I can't even imagine the hardships and offer my deepest condolences.

I agree with you on younger (males) people taking advantage of the MMJ cards not only here but all over the country. I don't mind seeing people being able to legally smoke but when they are taking advantage of it and also giving other MMJ card holders a bad name it royally pisses me off as well.

If the fees are doubled then I would like to see the actual MMJ cards made out of hemp. Then in the deepest of deep doo doo that one gets in, they would still have their ganja card to smoke.

come on folks, seriously is there anyone out there who thinks med. mary is legit? maybe 10-20% tops has legit reason, if that. i have a permanent disability and the pain is so bad sometimes i cant sleep or function during the day. been puffing every day since 1973 and im here to tell you no WEED on the face of the earth will help w/ MY pain. now ive seen plenty of people die from cancer (to many) and i do believe that horrible disease can be combated during different stages w/ our beloved herb, but a back ache? seriously i wouldnt give you the time of day if that was your so-called malady.i'd also venture a guess anyone over the age of 20 would probably agree w/ me on the basic generalities of this statement.

I can honestly say it helps with my migraines, and I would rather puff than pop pain pills, or get shots whenever I get them.

ive broke my back in 2 places, shattered my ankle in 3, and have insomnia very bad. MMJ helps with them all much better then any pill ive got, plus i have no negative side effects from it. it may not help you with SEVERE pain but it does others

And that's why I have not gotten my card yet though I'm sure I could. I've had knee problems from sports and have had surgeries to help correct the damage I've done. The pain never goes away, especially since I am working out again to start up sports soon but I don't feel that I NEED a card just because I can, I will leave that for the people that truly need it so that these statistics for MMJ cards and what they are given out for isn't just "chronic pain" but rather actual disabilities and true needs.

The way I see it: I can still smoke whenever I want just like any card holder, I can still grow if I choose to, just like any card holder. One difference is that I can't go into clubs to get other strains from other card holders, but I know enough friends that smoke to know if I want to try a different strain I can either ask them, or grow it myself. The biggest difference is that if I were to get busted or caught in posession, I would have to go to court rather than [hopefully] be sent on my merry way, which is when I would explain that I am in the process of getting legal and do so before my court date and [hopefully] get any charges dropped.

I feel like I just rambled, my bad bongsmilie

fill out the paperwork and leave it by the door with a stamp on it. that means the three doctor visits with paperwork from an md, the clinic paperwork, the state paperwork, and everything else.

don't feel bad about signing up for any reason. you qualify under the law, you are doing nothing wrong.

believe me, going legal is worth it.

very worth it lost reef, IMO getting a card before a court date does nothing to help as it has happened after the fact, if it did ever happen, but ya hell you should get one, you do qualify. if i was not medical i would still smoke it, but i would be much more cautious about having some on me or smoking in my yard, and growing.
