I have spent hundreds $ with edit. But after having problem after problem(last three orders in a row no less !) If y.ou have a problem and send them an email,you may not be answered for many days. If you send them an angry email, get ready for the games as they seem to have spiteful,non customer service attitude .Items that are out of stock dont appear as such until they have your $. My last order did not say out of stock until I ordered. The next day(6-2) I find out the item is out.They said it would be restocked on the 9th. The 9th came and went with no notice of any kind. On the 11th I sent an email inquiring why. Eventually I got a notice saying it would be restocked on the 27th now? WTF ? This is a small example of the bullshit this company pulls !! Some people will try to convince you that this is not true. All you have to do is type in keywords everyonedoesit reviews and decide for yourself !!! Good Luck !!!!!!!:wall:

I was part of Edit back in it's forum days. Back then it had a different owner (Bushmaster/Mark), and it was one of the best companies you could order off. They once forgot something in my order, i emailed them, got a huge apology, and sent the item that was missing along with loads of freebies, sweets, a pipe, extra roach/skins etc.

Since the new owner took over (The Shaman i think he was called) he closed the forums (which had a very close nit community and loyal edit customers) and the customer service, from what i have read, has gone majorly down hill.

That being said, in all honesty, in my experience (placed an order for loads of skins and what not last week) everything has come on time apart from once when i ordered a bong and it wasn't in stock but said it was, got it in a week though.

Perhaps someone here knows of an alternative, with the same kind of prices/stock, but better customer service... or fuck it, who wants to start up an online headshop? We could make it the best ever, with a forum of course.. lol this could work.. :D
 
They do have a few problems they could sew up. I ordered some glass which said "in stock" on Sunday the 12th. I got an email on the following day saying they were out of stock till the next Monday the 20th. I was a little dissapointed with that response. I got an email on Friday the 17th saying it was shipped which made me a little happier it was shipped before the weekend. I got my stuff 11 days later on the 28th which seemed a little slow but it was still in their estimated time frame. I think next time I'll spend a little extra on shipping "with tracking".

James, if you're reading this. The "Out Of Stock" issue really needs to be addressed. I've read countless threads with this problem. It's really frustrating to have to wait an extra week or two to get my stuff. I can barely stand waiting a week.

Yeah they just posted a spam thread here yesterday about how there having a sale this week or something. Called em out on how they fucking suck and i guess instead of responding to me they just deleted the thread. As stated, EDIT used too be pretty damn good. But nowadays they're just trash and their site isn't even worth browsing anymore. If you buy from them chances are the experience is gonna be horrible, i wouldn't reccommend them to anybody anymore.

pretty much exactly my experience on thousand dollar glass orders....

i got most of my shit and some of my money back after 4 months on the second order... the first order took two months

OK we seem to have a few problems here. I need order numbers before I can comment as I dont know the details of orders, what has happened or anything, although I can sense the real frustration you guys are having.

I would also be interested in people sending me responses they have had from what has been called "spiteful, non customer service" our customer service department is not staffed by spiteful people so if you have proof of this I would be happy to look at that and pass comment.

I don't know about a spam thread??!? We are having a discount at the moment, but I didn't post any spam threads and I certainly didn't delete any threads either!

As you are know doubt aware I do respond to queries, sr verde you know this, I also accept that we have had some stocking issues in the past..... we do carry 7,500 products so it is difficult to make sure that everything is in stock at all times. I have explained before, we carry huge lines of stock, we could have 10 of a product in stock, overnight we get 11 orders, we come to pack the orders 1 person has to wait a little for the product to come back into stock again....I am sorry this is the case, of course, but its what happens, we do predictive stock ordering all the time, but still we can get caught out, and for that I do genuinely apologise..... we are working on these issues and the seeds position has improved immeasurably.

Hope this answers some of your concerns, but I am more than willing to listen to what you guys have to say.

now where did I put my favourite festival hat?

so true, they used to kick ass, wouldn't order from them now under any circumstance

I've ordered a piece for a friend from EDIT and in all honesty I was expecting it to be a huge hassle from the reviews I've read. It really wasn't at all, it shipped and arrived within 10 days and I'm in the the US, for me my one experience has been great. With that said, it was an order for a friend who wanted a cheap percolated bong so I was willing to make the order since he was taking the risk financially. So, to me it seems like they have a tougher time with the higher end glass, which makes sense because they aren't massed produced in china or wherever, so it would be near impossible to stock 10 of each. After following sr verde through his order troubles with EDIT, I won't be ordering any of their high end of glass though, when you invest more then a couple hundred its important that you can in fact get that piece in a timely fashion, because if EDIT can't do that for you, you should have the ability to get your money back and order a piece from a company who will get it to you, especially if it says in stock.
 
Just got back from the festival and I have had zero responses about trying to sort all these "problems" out.

I really do want to help guys so if you are still having difficulties then please let me know, its important we get things right for you.

You haven't gotten a response from me because what's done is done. Are you gonna give my back the days of my life i was without glass while i waited for your shipping via camel back? Maybe refund me for all the days i missed the first hour at work while i had to wait for the mail so i could sign for my package, only to find that is STILL hadn't come?

When the situation happened i told you that i wanted a refund on my shipping, but got no response on the actual matter. It was just some b/s half assed pre-typed letter, the kind i'd expect back if i sent an email of some concern to a congressman or governor. And even then, the only reason i wanted the refund was simply due to the fact that you didn't feel the need to mention my stuff was being shipped by boat til about the end the fourth week of waiting for my package, and about the 12th email i had with you. I mean what is that about? When i get an expected delivery date, and you miss it by 30+ days because you decided to change your shipping methods without my knowledge, and then have the nerve to proceed to tell me you don't know why my package isn't here yet. THAT is terrible customer service.

ooooh and speaking of bad customer service and out of stock items....

I mean i know shit happens. If it would have been the case were you had just ran out of stock and you accidentally sold one more than you had before you noticed it, well that's no big deal, Cause again ...shit happens. Nobody's perfect. But don't fucking blatantly lie to people and string them along and have them assume there getting something, when it is infact out of stock. And when that does happen, cause with your company it clearly happens way more than it should(i suggest having somebody more competent running your inventory), maybe you should be a decent human being and let them have a choice of waiting for this item to go back into stock or just refunding their money on the spot. Not ... after thirty days harherhaehu

We can't be responsible for mail delays its beyond our control, and we did have to change the way mail was sent purely due to terrorist activity, everything went by sea for a while after that bomb was found on the plane hidden in printer cartridges. ALSO we want to make sure you get your stuff, and sometimes going by sea guarantees delivery, all be it delayed, were going by air will risk interception.

That's the reasoning behind it.

i do live in the uk though so it might be better

I ordered a vaporizer about a year ago from EDIT, and it was shipped within two-three weeks. It was packaged well and exactly as described. I just placed an order on EDIT with hundreds of dollars worth of glass and various accessories an hour ago. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

So instead of simply calling your credit card company and telling them you post it on a weed forum. Oh ya, that will work. Almost forgot, don't forget to tell the credit card company you used it to buy cannabis smoking items, they will probably extend your credit line.
