you bet it does!!! it will free up my current flower cabinet. i will put the CFL's back in there and use it as a clone room right now, then it will be my male cabinet soon!!!

hey stoney, man that nypd sounds like the shit ,im learnin so much from you and irish.im building me a couple grow closets and i just ordered a spectra 290 friday,so my question is do you think the spectra 290 will will yeild thick dense sweet buds on 4 plants in a row in a 2.5 ft x 5.5 ftx 6.10ft closet perpetual grow ,my veg closet is 40inchx53inches x2ft deep and im running 3 90 watt bloom boss ufos in it , im gonna try and harvest a plant every 2 weeks with each plant vegging for 30 days and floering for 2 months,thanks dog,i cant wait for my 290.so heres a pic of what im building im still on my veg closet i9ts on the right and where my tv is is gonna be flower closet all the waty to the ceiling ive got short rider feminizes and white widow seeds coming from nirvana will the spectra 290 rock a 2.5ftx5.5ftx6.10 closet with proper tempatures and ventilation? thanks for your time much respecti got 3 bagseed plants

Nice new cab stoney! Looks almost like mine except I used the MDF instead of OSB. I wish I would have made it bigger now but I wanted to keep it small.

ya know I saw you in irish's thread and i chuckled at your user name... and it made me laugh again when i just saw it!!! ahh the little things that keep me entertained!!! it's great to be high!!

I see great things with those new 290's!! mike at GLH is very humble and I feel his light over perform to what he is posting. I think it should stretch out far enough... you may have to rotate plants now and then. make sure you get that panel up as high as possible in your situation. I hard mounted mine with cup hooks right to the hangers on the panel. I didn't even use the cables. this saved me 9"-10" of space. maybe even a linear light mover would help you out a lot.

as for fans, I use those duct booster fans they sell at home depot. the round ones that fit inside metal duct work. One thing I know about ventilation is, you want to exchange air every 5 minutes at the least. so L x W x H divided by 5 will give you the amount of CFM required. it calcs out pretty low. for instance my new box is 4 x 4 x 7 = 112 / 5 = 22.4 CFM required.... that ain't nothing 22 cfm.

I'm interested in how you set it up... post a pic or something for me when it's done?

Thank man , I appreciate that!!! I put extra supports in the top so I can hang anything i want from it. I will finish the doors tomorrow, then i will cut the holes for the fan and passive vent. then I will tear most of it into sections and take it downstairs and reassemble it in it's final resting place. then i will hook up the wiring and put up the mylar. I may do something with the bottom too, maybe a large drip tray or something. i was thinking maybe spraying it with rubber undercoating to just seal the entire floor. kind of like a rhino lining. I also paid for my new light today so that will be shipping very soon!!! It won't be long now!!!

thanks stoney,i will def keep u updated on my boxes, as for my name ,ive joined several online servers and i hate going through all the names i can think of till i find 1 that works so i just put in fartman and boom ,my lights suppose to be here tommorrow and the ww seeds came in today.im using a squirrel cage fan for my bloom box because i had a 4 inch bvooster fan and the temps were too hot ,my house is hot,so im gonna try putting a leaf blower in the veg box on a dimmer switch to slow it down some ,wish me luck will post pics of my boxes in a few days, peace

yea, that NYPD is not a huge producer. she is about average. but still packs a punch!!! I have one at 5 weeks of flowering, I'm gonna check on my girls in a few minutes... I'll take some pics!!

I didn't get to much done today.... I was busy, just didn't accomplish to much. I went to Lowe's, the hydro shop, and grocery shopping. that took half the day!!!! I did get some time to work on my grow box. I assembled the doors, installed them and also added a locking latch!!! they are double doors and open outward. I bought the mylar and I also bought some FF tiger bloom. you guys all rave about it so I gotta try it!!! I'm gonna check on my girls now.. I'll get some photos to!! here is a shot of my new cabinet with the doors on.

well I got more work done today... I tore the new cabinet apart and carried it down my basement, then re-assembled it, ran all the electrical, hung the mylar, put the light in, and loaded it up with plants!!!!!

I am tired!!! I'm gonna have a drink, a smoke and chill in the AC for the rest of the night!!!! here are a couple pics of the cabinet.... also here are a couple porn pics... this was gonna be tonights harvest but she just isn't ready yet.

Thanks a lot man!!! I just checked the temp, and sitting on top of my light it is 86F. I'm gonna run my remote sensor to the canopy and see what it is there. I'll put the exhaust fan in Saturday. that will fix everything.
