Does my seedling have spidermites/mold or am I paranoid?

High everyone, just recently both of my seedlings have started to develop many white spots on the leaves. Can anyone identify what exactly it is?

I have some neem oil in case of spidermites but I've been told by someone at my local gardening shop that it could kill the seedlings. Can anyone confirm this? I thought neem oil was for the most part a harmless organic treatment.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

It looks like mineral build up from evaporated water. I take it you use hard water? It shouldn't be a problem unless it's really hard or you plan to veg for several months or have very long flowering plants.
